(Located in North Pole Plaza) after she was able to nail my curtain bangs in an instant, I knew she was legit! After that, I asked her to do what she thinks is best to bring out my waves. I'm so glad I did lol. Rather than just a trim as I had originally came in for, she gave me a cute and super trendy hair cut that I'm such a fan of! NYC hair stylists could never in their whole careers do what Jackie did in 20 mins. Whatever you do, ask for her advice! She will not disappoint ☺️

She is very good at what she does. I love how she cut my hair and gave me highlights at the tone I want it. I was looking for a natural tone and Jackie nailed it ? She is also very fast at hair cuts. This is my second time visiting her and I am always satisfied with the service. She is lovely to talk to as well. Highly recommended.

I called Jackie to make an appointment, and the address sent me straight to somebody's HOME. NOT JACKIE'S. After the confusion was over Jackie sat me down for my haircut. I told her EXACTLY what I wanted and she nodded in agreement.SIXTEEN INCHES more than I asked and she's telling me I'm going to be fine. I look beautiful. Definitely do not go here unless you're looking for disappointment.

Great experience and recommend Jackie to cut your hair. Love the way my hair turned out, she gave me layers and trimmed it all over. We talked about what I was looking for and the results were amazing, she did not disappoint. Great little local business...Charming establishment. ❤

This place is located inside the North Pole Plaza across from Ben Fraklins. The place looks run down, but it is not too bad. The barber is a female and she has a dog that wonders freely. She does not like people standing around the work area she is in and we learned that the rude way. The wife was watching our oldest son making sure she does not mess up his haircut. Our youngest kept calling for the dog so she got annoyed and put the dog away and told us to sit down. Under her breath she made the comment that we needed to sit down because she can't concentrate!! So the wife sat down with the youngest to be respectful and said nothing, but I was not comfortable leaving my oldest by himself so I stood in the distance to make sure she does a good job.

Haircut for myself, my oldest son, and my youngest (it was to clean up the mess my wife did attempting to cut his hair) cost $47.00, which isn't bad. Other than her attitude and the way she handled the situation, she did not do a bad job with the haircuts. So if you are interested in trying out this place, stay seated until you are called. If you have someone with you make sure they are seated and not watching her cut your hair. If you bring your children to get their haircut, make sure they sit down and wait their turn.

I made an appointment for my boys. She had cut their hair in the past and did a good job. When I walked in for the appointment she took a walk in. She told me it would only be 5 minutes. I decided to walk to the Ace hardware for a quick errand. I was gone for a total of 4 minutes. When I returned the gentleman who was there was gone and she had started cutting someone else's hair. She found it funny and asked if I was in a hurry. I explained that I had made an appointment and that I expected that to be honored. I told my boys we were leaving and she physically grabbed me and told me not to go. I was startled and she had a very tight grip with long nails. I asked her to let go and then I left. Will not be going back.

Most definitely will NOT be returning. Was rudely asked "What do you want?" When I walked in the door to request my hair cut. Got told to just go sit down until my turn. When it was my turn I wasn't even greeted, just told to sit down. I asked the lady who was working (Asian lady, don't know if it was Jackie or not) to just trim the hair directly behind my ears following the previous trim I had so I could keep the fine hairs from getting caught in my braids and hurting. I had previously had this done at another salon and had no problems. All she had to do was follow the same area. Nope, she butchered it, went way higher up into the hair line and cut areas that I didn't want cut and made it look so bad the next hairstylist I went to (to have it fixed) actually winced and told me she butchered it. Then to top it off I got charged $15 for 3 minutes of work, and she sighed heavily when she had to give me back the full amount of change (made me think she expected a tip).

Not happy with the service and will not return.

I took my 6 year old daughter to Jackie's and instructed Jackie to trim her hair just enough to keep the hair out of her eyes. Instead she cut nearly all of my daughter's hair off, leaving only less than an inch of hair all over her head. Jackie did not follow my instructions at all, my daughter is very upset, and so am I.
