Honest men doing honest work, these gentlemen set the standard for sharp, clean work in the automotive industry. They get straight to the point, are clear with their communication and transparent with the services you're looking to have rendered.

I've never had such a sincere and honest experience as I had here, where it felt like I was having a family member genuinely look out for the best interest of me and my vehicle. The owner and his team are great at what they do, and if they can't get the service you need done here, they'll go above and beyond to ensure you find somewhere nearby that can for sure help you.

Got a transmission for my fiances 2007 Toyota Camry and they had the best price and they were really nice and honest. I took it to 3 other places and Island Auto had the best price by far. I highly recommend this place.

They work very well, since I met with them, they were very kind with me and honest with my car ... The owner Mr. AK offered me a low miles engine for my Subaru at a good price. The mechanic also did all the work in less than a week and my car works excellent and no problem. Definitely a good place if you want to take to change your engine or transmission and with good guarantee. Very good team...

I would 100% recommend this shop for anybody that needs a new engine, I even had other problems with my car other than the engine and they helped me beyond expectation!. It’s nice to have a shop like this one in our community.

Got a rebuilt engine from these guys and drove it 4000 miles and it lost all compression in cylinder 4 which means it's a bad engine and took him the paperwork and he said he can't do anything because it's past a year like anyone is going to drive 12000 miles in a year.... doesn't even know the company where he got the engine even though his sales pitch was oh yeah I've been working with them for 6 Years and no problems ever. I feel so swindled and just left in the dust. Said he can't do anything to help.... I hope for you all that you never get any work from this guy. He has paperwork all over the place and couldn't find mine so had to make copies and in the back "shop" it's even worse... terrible company

The dealership told us our Subaru Outback (2012, 100k miles) required $11k of repairs due to an issue with the radiator even though it was driving fine. This essentially meant our car was totaled. We happened to find AK to look into a used engine replacement and he performed another diagnostic. Rather than just agree with the dealer and install a used engine, he actually didn’t find any issues and was honest about it! We appreciate that he didn’t just use our plight as an opportunity to earn some money. Will definitely come back if we do have a terminal issue with the car
