Had an amazing experience buying our Grand Highlander from Irwin Toyota and Nicole! My partner and I live in Massachusetts and drove up to purchase our car as they can be hard to come by. This dealer offered a great price that we couldn't find in our area and our sales rep Nicole was very thorough/patient in prepping us for our purchase before and on the day, making the buying process effortless. She was very relatable, professional and quick in getting us through the paperwork and answering all of our questions. Highly recommend working with Nicole!

I wish I could give a two-pronged review as I would give the Irwin Hyundai dealer a 4* and the leasing department at Irwin Toyota a no star review. But bottom line is these two groups are not collaborative. This review is about an Ioniq 5.

For the Hyundai side the night I came into put the deposit down and order the car, the sales person and the floor manager were lovely and efficient. They scheduled a 12:00pm appointment on the next Saturday, September 27. We arrived 5 minutes early for our appointment.

We started by going over the car and the salesperson again was super personable but still needs to learn a bit more about the features ot the top of line Ioniq 5. After 15 minutes, he drove us down to Irwin Toyota for the paperwork.

We sat down in the waiting area of Irwin Toyota at 12:20 for the 12:30 paperwork appointment. Another gentleman was already there for the same reason and he ended up waiting 55 minutes. A woman who arrived after us with a later appointment was taken in just 15 minutes. The sales manager finally approached at 1:45 when had requested our money back. Finally at 1:50pm they took us back for literally 10 minutes for the paperwork. The finance gentleman was totally efficient and appropriate dealing with a very unhappy customer. Note the paperwork had not been done in advance despite an appointment. Had we not asked for our check back and were ready to leave, we might still be there.

They don't seem to understand that their behavior was disrespectful. Many sales people saw us sitting there and hear me complain. One in particular was feet away. It was particularly rich that they had pizza delivered for everyone working there but we were not even offered a bottle of water. And we really enjoyed seeing from 3-7 people in the "glass box" yucking it up with each other and discussing football.

To make matters worse, one of their sales people told me that two people had been late for their appointments so I had to pay the price. Another told me that Saturdays are really busy and I should have not come on a Saturday (despite the paperwork only taking 10 minutes.)

The icing on the cake was they have a hotline phone line to the VP. Nobody answered it. I left a message and a day later instead of a response, I got an automated email trying to sell me a car.

Having a stellar brand requires thinking about the customer experience. Irwin Auto Group doesn't get it.
