My husband recently stayed here, as he needed a room for a last minute family wedding. It was a 12 hour drive away, so the room was booked based on their website pictures. HUGE MISTAKE. Staff was rude when he checked in, acted like they did not want to be there, and gave him a filthy room. He was told no other rooms were available, so he called me (as I was not able to travel with him), I looked on the website and saw they still had several available rooms. They refused to move him to a clean room, refused a refund, and made no offer to service the room. Parking lot was so full of unrepaired potholes, that it was practically a walking hazard.
The door was not secure, as both the flip latch and the deadbolt were broken or had parts missing. Gaps both under the door, and the side the doorknob is on, so the door barely caught, and could have easily been breached. Peep hole was too dirty to see out of. Ceiling light was dirty and full of dead bugs. Filter for a/c heater combo unit was so caked with dust, husband had to clean it, himself, to get air to flow through. Bathroom linens were rumpled, and there were only a couple little "ketchup packet" toiletries. Bed was made, but he's not sure if the sheets were fresh. Mattress was worn out, lumpy, noisy, and uncomfortable. Bedspreads look like the same ones they had in 1997, he said. Dirt, crud, and grime were all over the floors and surfaces. Chairs were mismatched and dirty, with stained upholstery. The window sill was covered in dead bugs. Bathroom sink was clogged, and took forever to drain. Shower was so disgusting, that he did not use it. It was full of rust, grime, and filth. It was obvious that this room has not been properly serviced in a very, VERY long time. Smoke and air quality detectors were falling off wall, and no indicator light was on, so it is assumed they were not working. The entire room smelled like mildew and stale cigarettes (this was booked as a non smoking room). It was very apparent to him (and me, when he sent pictures) that there is a lack of proper (or even basic) care taken at this place. You would be better off to sleep in your car. There are 13 photos in this review, yet they won't show when I post. The photos posted on their website are certainly misleading.
