Hoagies were pretty good. They need to put more meat! It's still good, though

I like Heritage's. This one has got to be the worst one! $5.69 for tomato and cheese on a Kaiser with spicy mustard. A Heri-egg sandwich, which is the same thing with egg and meat on it, is $4.69.
I questioned the price, and the manager told me that that is considered a cold cheese sandwich, and that's the price for a cold cheese sandwich. The kaiser roll did not even seem fresh, it seems like day old. And the tomato had a little bit of ice crystallization in it.
The coffee is not that good at this location either. The bathroom is pretty gross, and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in quite some time. So much so that there is dust on top of the filth.
I am a local driver in the Gloucester County area, so I stop at Heritages a lot. Although this is not my regular stop, I have been to this location several times. This is the first time I got a sandwich here, and I will never go back because of it. I have gotten coffee and pretzels before, and they never seem as good or as fresh as other locations.

I would recommend the one on Broad St in Gibbstown. I think it is the best one. Everything is very clean and fresh, and everyone is very pleasant at Gibbstown. The food is actually good in Gibbstown too. In Gibbstown when you buy $5.69 worth of sandwich, they give you $5.69 worth of sandwich. And if they don't, they charge you less!

From now on if I absolutely must stop in this area, I will just go to Wawa.8

This is the first time in 17 years that have to complain. The last few times I’ve been disappointed with my sandwiches. They have gotten very skimpy with the cold cuts and salad sandwiches. I just got a turkey and Swiss and I got very little turkey, two slices of cheese and a lot of tomato and lettuce and a touch of mayo.
I understand that times are hard and prices are up, but keep your customers happy. Seems like the prices went up but the quality went down. 👎
Not good when Wawa is next door and is adding variety almost daily.
Thumbs down and I won’t be going there anymore!

Heritage’s tuna hoagies were always my favorite but I had not had one in a long time because I don’t live near one. My brother did tell me they’ve gone downhill and I should’ve believed him. I ordered a 9 inch tuna hoagie, picked it up and brought it back to my brother’s house. When I opened it, I couldn’t believe it. There was next to no tuna on it. It was mostly all roll, lettuce, tomato and onion. My brother and I were both appalled. It really was disgraceful and a PATHETIC-looking sandwich so I brought it back and got a refund. The staff was courteous and respectful, but I’m very disappointed in the hoagie and won’t be back.

Heritage is a great little store for all your guick little run to Needs! They also make good sandwiches, hot /cold, & side dishes potato, Mac, seafood.. etc. Salad which I think are very good. Especially the seafood salad. Never to Over crowded with people, that you have to wait for your order, or to pay for it. Employees are friendly & helpful.

I did once say this store was 100% better than wawa. But management changed as well as the rules and regulations.. you would get in trouble or written up if you threw the meat from the slicer out and not in the fridge. Mind you the new manager wanted you to put the used meat from slicer onto sandwiches and sell to customers. Miss the old store and old management.
