Super cute experiential cafe, when you walk in you're greeted with extravagant floral decor throughout the building and there is even a local maker selling their art and other works. Very geered toward Swifties. My gripe with this place is first, everything on their food menu contains animal products. And then they are extremely unorganized, serving food but having limited seating and no guided seating or anyone to help manage how busy the restaurant is. We witnessed them literally bringing out actual plates and dishes full of food and handing them to people who were standing up and they had no where to sit and eat it the food that was handed to them on a plate.

My family and friends love coming here for coffee, hot chocolate, and brunch. The staff is always so kind and sweet, and completely understand what my daughter means when she orders her drink not by its actual name, but by which sticker is on the cup. They can interpret her order better than me and do so with a smile. The drinks and food being so good helps, but the atmosphere is what keeps us coming back!

As always, Hens and Honey did not disappoint. The new (bigger) store is such a fun atmosphere. This trip we tried the bagel board and waffle board. They were amazing! My favorite drink is the Pig Pen - if you like peanut butter, it’s a must! It was my daughter’s 19th birthday and she got a coffee flight with a birthday cake coffee🎂

Went in yesterday for my third time! It was super busy, but the service was still super quick. They told me they were on a 40 minute wait time and my food and coffee flight came out in about 20! Such a lovely cafe with great food and drinks. The atmosphere is great, and even better if you love Taylor Swift! The staff are so kind! Will be coming back here as often as I can!

This place looks very nice and trendy. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a traditional coffee shop where you can study. It’s more like a floral gift shop with a cafeteria

It’s pretty loud and cramped in there. I was a bit overwhelmed with the merchandise being sold right when you walked in.

The coffee was excellent! I would definitely come back just for that. The food lacks flavor (I had the chicken and dumpling soup and a cream cheese board) and is not worth the money. Definitely a very instagramable place though

Today was my first time at Hens & Honey. I’ve been wanting to try this place out for a while. I went out for breakfast with my daughter. I felt cheated on my experience. I ordered a flight and me and my daughter were giving the cashier the flavors we wanted to try. She then asks if we want a full cup and shows me a plastic cup. I asked do you have any other sizes and she said no. I didn’t know we were going to get four cups to go. She knows we were eating there. I think she should have explained that there are the glass cups on the wood board or to go cups. I did order the flight lattes. Other than that I enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Found this place on instagram, beautiful inside, it’s a find a seat, claim the seat eatery. Food was great and the coffee flights were so good, definitely worth the wait.

My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit and have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Hens & Honey Shoppe for Swedesboro, our 136th town.

We had seen this place pop up on our social media feeds, and couldn't wait to try it when we came to town. (Check out their Instagram for great coffee pics and the funny Reels the crew makes.) Valerie & the H&H team exceeded expectations! First off, the shop itself is a work of art with lots of insta-photo-friendly decor.

The iced coffee flight is a must. It's what we came for. We got to try the Fall Special line up (Jack O, Pecan Lane, Flannel Jacket, and Harvest Moon).

It's not just a coffee shop though. The gourmet toasts they offer make for some of the most unique & delicious breakfast or brunch options I've seen. We tried the Smoked Salmon and Bourbon Sweet Honey toasts. WOW! Each of these were a party in our mouths. If we lived close enough, we'd come back more often to try all the toasts out!

The place gets busy, so you might have a wait, but it's WELL worth it.

Disclaimer: I'm writing this review almost a year after we first visited, and the shop has expanded to a larger space in the same plaza that looks just as cool. Can't wait to swing by again between visits to other towns our next time in Gloucester county! (As of Oct 2024, 243 Jersey towns visited, 321 to go!)
