really cool selection of trinkets, artifacts, tarot cards and books and a pretty good range of occult subjects. and a very cool lady runs the place, knows exactly what every rock is in the place is, and can tell you lots about it. she's hard of hearing and strict on her rules, but as long as you're respectful and polite (as you should be at every place you enter 👀), then she's kind and fun to talk to. very knowledgeable!

Owner was really nice, helped me with my questions in regards to the deity statues listed for sale and helped me in letting them know to email them so I can finally get my own statue of Odin. Owner was really knowledgeable as well, I'll definitely be returning here again.

Usually, upon entering a successful store, you're greeted with a warm smile and a friendly hello. Not here. The owner and an employee ignored everyone and kept chatting amongst themselves.
We never received any acknowledgement until the incident happened that I described in my original review.

Let me 1st address the lies within her reply. Not one employee ever spoke to me at any point that I was browsing the store. Hence, them not knowing that the person they so rudely and loudly spoke about was my daughter. Therefore, I do not at all believe the employee she states was reprimanded for speaking that way about a customer was truly spoken to because they obviously were not aware that I had overheard them until I made my review.

Serious guys, try again. Although I do find it highly amusing that you're trying to validate something that we clearly had no issue with. As I stated in my original review, my daughter quickly apologized and left the store once she was informed of your policy. Never once did she disagree with it or call you horrible human beings for implementing such policies. Your store, run it however you please.

The problem here is that you've clearly taken it personally that we gave OUR honest opinion of the place. I'm sure many have had somewhat decent experiences there. We did not and we explained why. It wasn't because of your prices or selection of goods. (Which I didn't really find all that spectacular and yes, there are other stores that carry much of the same!) It was because y'all had the audacity to speak so lowly of a potential customer so loudly that every other patron within your store heard it.

Also, categorizing all Texans as a rude population is absolutely wrong and frankly, it's a form of profiling. Again, allowing your true colors to shine! In Texas, we offer true southern hospitality. God Bless, Texas ❤️

Finally, let me address your signs that you have posted on your door, your FB page, probably the one you have hanging on your bedroom wall at home too. Did you happen to notice that my daughter was wearing glasses? She has pretty terrible vision and like her, I do as well. As a matter of fact, I'm blind in my left eye. Add the sun that was out shining ever so beautifully that day, and someone with low vision will miss the notice! Shameful that you didn't even take that into consideration. Often times, we use our phone to zoom in on wording so we can see them better! All you did was make someone feel horrible and you try to defend your behavior within in your lengthy reply. Not a good way to build rapport and invite future sales with a customer if you ask me!

Absolutely rude and disrespectful employees. Visited while touring Main Street and this was by far the worst shop. My daughter was taking a photo of their merchandise (tarot cards) to send directly to a friend who's into that kind of stuff. Said friend lives in Texas and could not physically pick up or hold the merchandise. My daughter wanted to buy her a souvenir from our travels. They rudely told her due to copyright infringement, no photos were allowed. Yeah, um...my daughter didn't take the sealed packages apart and take photos of the contents. Simply the outside. Is this not any different then what Amazon would do? Or any online bookstore? After being told this wasn't allowed, my daughter immediately apologized and walked out of the store. I guess they didn't know that, I, her mother was still browsing. They continued to belittle and berate her, loudly enough for other patrons to hear. We left after this. Where I'm from in Texas, we simply say, Bless your heart. True Texans will understand the true meaning of that statement! Save your money for another store. There are others around who offer much of the same merchandise with much friendly employees.

Great experience with lots of great things. Largest selection of esoteric books I've seen in a long time. I'm glad I found this store. I plan on visiting every time I visit Roswell.

I loved this place when I was here back in 2020. I thought the employees were so nice, I even wrote a song about it! It’s called The Mystic of Roswell, I recalled a great conversation I had with who I assume may have been the owner about Lechuguilla Cave, spiritual worship and many other things. Anyone in town should definitely pop in and visit.
