I bought my first Janome sewing machine from these wonderful people 9 yrs ago. Best decision ever! Since then, I've taken a class (or 2) with them and most recently had both of my Janome machines in for cleaning, maintenance and adjustments. The tech is fast and the work is done well ... and the charge is most reasonable. I know they service other brands of machines as well, so if your machine is out-of-warrantee and it's time for attention ... give these folks a call to see if they handle your machine type. Oh, and they have great fabrics too ... and some fabulous sales periodically.

Have visited and loved this store in the past but my visit today left me feeling disappointed. Didn't receive individual attention and felt they were really just waiting for me to leave. I was the only customer and there were 3 staff people there. In the past, great service, don't know what was up today but I was disappointed today. Hopefully it was a rare event...they do have a wide variety of fabrics. In the original store, the lady was super nice but most of the fabrics seemed older prints, etc. Don't like to post a bad report but maybe it will help in the end.

Did not get same service as some of these reviews im reading. Perhaps it is an issue of race? Purchased embroidery machine (wasnt even given a purchase receipt). Was broken prior to opening box apparantly. We paid for a working brand new machine . Asked for our money back OR a brand new machine. They refused to replace, only offered to repair. Just kept saying "we dont do refunds". Payed almost 6k CASH for machine we've had almost a month, and have not used it not even once. As Tom has little knowledge of machines hes repairing, it had to be sent off to janome, so still waiting. There is no expediency in their actions. Not sure how this is an authorized repair shop but owner has no working knowledge of his own products. Whole experience has been not good, and gene and tom have the audacity to state we are always upset. Wouldnt you be if you paid cash for something you needed immediately, but cant even use. Will NEVER again purchase or recommend a Janome to anyone, and dont even want this one at this point. Save yourself a lot of grief and buy a Brother. With all sincerity, Im calling bay news 9.

I recently attended Free Motion with Rulers/Templates class at Heartfelt Quilting and Sewing. It was the best class that I have ever taken. The educator was Ann Moore a Sew Steady Westalee educator. This a great class where you learned how to use Rulers. We had time to actually use the rulers and to practice using the rulers to create multiple designs.

It was my first experience with HeartFelt Quilting and Sewing. I was impressed with the setup for the class, the instructor, and the selection of Westalee Rulers/Templates that were brought in for the class. Attendees could bring their own machines or use a Janome 9450. I brought my own machine, but the Janome 9450 received rave reviews from those who used them. The owners, Pat and Tom were very helpful, very, personable, and very supportive. Ann Moore is an excellent educator. Her teaching technique resulted in her students actually becoming more confident using the rulers.

While there I talked to Tom that about my need for a sewing cabinet that would fit into a small space. He had a couple of cabinets in stock that were small enough. The Horn 6330 that was perfect for my limited space. Horn makes high quality sewing furniture. I am so happy that I found the perfect cabinet and that it came home with me.

The cabinet fits in my room perfectly. I could not be happier that I found an awesome quilt shop with a great selection of products and helpful, friendly owners.

Although the shop is two hours away, I go back again.

I’ve shopped at this store for years, and my husband bought me a $2,300 machine from them, but I’ll never spend another dime there. I went in a few days ago, and I asked where I might find fabric with heart prints, and the staff, OWNER, motioned with her head in a general direction, which wasn’t helpful, but okay. Then I asked if they had elastic, and she got a hateful, irritated look and barked, “this is a quilt shop.” She repeated that statement.

We’re in a dark time, and I use elastic in my quilted baby seats for shopping carts, so ...

They should be glad for any shoppers given our current economic slump. I’ll never go back.
