Let me start by saying this is a servicable hotel if all you are looking for is a clean room and bed. Where this Hampton falls down compared to the many other Hamptons I have stayed at is in their service. This is especially true if you are a Hilton Honors member. I've been a diamond for years and get in a lot of Hilton brand hotels - and this one can definitely do better.

Breakfast - they ran out of milk for the cereal and instead of having a staff person run across the street to Walmart to get some, since they did not order enough, they put up this sign. The waffle mix was an off-brand that was gritty and dry. Overall the breakfast area was poorly stocked.

Honoring Hilton Honors frequent guests: is there something missing in the picture in what they give Gold and Diamond guests? Yup, that is tasty water! Every other Hampton I stay in at least offers a snack to go with it. Not this one, and it comes across as cheap. At least get rid of the box if all you are going to give us is water. The desk clerk did not greet me as an honors member - and I had to ask for the water.

So, it's in the small stuff. It would not be ony list to return to.

I was surprised to see that after checking in, that there was a parking fee. I said to the clerk that I made the reservation using my Hilton Honors app and one of the benefits was free parking and two bottles of water. He said not here you don't. You're only a silver status member; free parking and one bottle of water was for gold or diamond status members only. I showed him the Hilton app page under benefits that clearly states free parking and two bottles of water. A 25 cent bottle of water? In the morning the manager said silver member get no benefits here. I pointed to the "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed" that is displayed on the counter, apparently that sign means nothing. I travel more than most and usually stay with Hilton or Holiday inn Express. I have memberships with both and have stayed in about 20 to 30 Hilton hotels. Never have I been talked down to as they have at this hotel. It's not even downtown, its on the outskirts of Santa Fe. Hilton Honors customer service says the owners of the Hotel can do as they please, membership means nothing.

Lovely, well maintained rooms & public areas but the breakfast room was poorly manahed/maintained: ran out of food, plates, juice, milk or something on each day; waffle, oatmeal, & cereal containers overflowed & were not cleaned up.
Had to request items for our room twice since initial request was not acknowledged. Employees were pleasant; hotel just seemed under staffed.

The service was horrible. I arrived late in the evening and was greeted at a hotel with a full parking lot. When I asked the receptionist where to park I was told to park on the street but was charged a parking fee to park. Yes, charged a parking fee to park in their parking lot, but told to park on the street. Needless to say, I asked for a refund and was told I would receive a refund in the morning which I never received. When I called to inquire about what was happening, I was told I wouldn’t receive a refund even though I was told that night that I would. Ultimately I took my business to the Fairfield Inn & Suites and was amazed at the wonderful service provided there. My recommendation, steer clear of the Hampton Inn unless you want to deal with hidden fees and unprofessional services.

We had truck issues coming into town lost power no heat didn't have a hotel it was 4am and the lady at the front desk was so accommodating let us check in top notch front desk service, room was nice very clean beds are a little hard but other than that room was very nice, breakfast waffles, eggs, toast and cereal were good but the sausage didn't touch it was gray definitely would not eat that need to be cooked longer but other than that for free and quick wasn't bad. Would definitely stay here again and recommend

The young teen at the front desk didn't give two hoots about us, night person. Only 1 key card and offered absolutely NO information on anything including breakfast, location of room, where the dog could use the toilet, even though the dog was on our reservation, she didn't even acknowledge us having a dog! Daytime person was WAY more professional, like night and day, their professionalism

I have stayed at a number of Tru hotels by Hilton, so when I decided to stay at Hampton Inn by Hilton, I thought I would have a similar experience. That wasn't the case at all. Let me start with the breakfast, two days in a row they had No juice at all, None. The first day we should have had an hour left before breakfast was over but most of the food was gone, no eggs, barely any sausage or potatoes. The oatmeal was extra watery like they were trying to stretch it. On the second day, they ran out of paper plates, again an hour early. And again Zero juice of any kind. Like they couldn't go to near by Walmart and buy some orange juice and paper plates?!?! The room's heat was really hard to get the room warm. And they have a second blower that is loud and runs often but doesn't heat or cool. Not even sure what it's purpose is. Honestly, next time I am in Santa Fe, I will probably try a competitors establishment.

I had to stay another day, so I thought I would update for day 3. Still no juice of any kind, no paper plates, and now they have cereal but no milk and that is first thing as today I came down at 6:30 am when breakfast starts.

The people who work there are so kind and the place was so clean. The humidity in the pool area was healing from my brother and the coffee and clean lobby areas were really attractive to us. The beds were comfortable
