I had free roaches in my room. Deal breaker. Its old but nicely retro and also beat up a lil. I happen to like retro but not the beat up parts. In an emergency it will do but bring your own can of Raid. They live here. I dont like to see one. Theyre many...alive and dead. I dont want either. Theyre in the frig...dresser....on the table....dead and alive. The room was dirty upon arrival. The free roaches dont sweep.

The sheets on the bed were not changed. They had a previous person's body odor on them. Not clean. Pillows and pillow cases have an old dirty smell. The floor was not cleaned. Dead roaches everywhere. Live ones too.

If it was at least cleaned, that wouldve spoke of care and integrity of the owers. The retro fact is fine. Dirtiness unacceptable. Extremely disappointed that it was not at least clean. No pots or pans or utensils. A temp 7 day tenant would never waste money buying cooking supplies for 7 days.

The rooms are surprisingly nice and clean. Don't judge this place by the way the outside looks. I honestly thought for years that this place was condemned. Nope. Open as can be. Once you get inside, the rooms are updated and pretty nice. The area itself has a lot of sheriff's and they are not all that pleasant. It's also a regular occurrence for check points to be set up about a block up on Broadway. So be on your best behavior in this area. Otherwise, this is more of a long term residential motel than a one night kind of stay.

I stayed here this past month (October 2021) for a month & it's convenient due to the room having a full on kitchen & close to everything. The $500 weekly is a good price compared to a HOTEL weekly price. However, as far as the owners go, Eddy I believe is his name is by far very nice, cool, etc and I did get my deposit back. Now for the bad reviews on the bad customer service and the owners being rude.... it's Eddy's wife....she is the reason for the bad reviews she is BEYOND high key RUDE af.....I recommend people deal with Eddy and NOT his wife. Other than that I had no issues staying here....Eddy THANK YOU!!

Feels like a home away from home. Has a kitchen with a oven/stove. Very comfortable bed. Every channel you could want. Nice walk in shower. Will be back.

Family owned. They do their best to accommodate. Place is old but clean and safe. Conveniently located a short walk to shops in Lemon Grove(everything in Lemon Grove is old or " historic". 24 hr Jack in the Box across the street. A few blocks down from Charley's Famous Burgers( black raspberry shakes are fantastic) It's not the Ritz but for the budget minded it serves the purpose. Parking right in front of your room. Kitchenettes. Wifi.

This place is waste of time an money owner kept calling me asking if I wanted to stay soon when we got comfortable they gave our room to another customer when we tried to rebook they treated customers unfairly especially black citizens had no respect or care when we asked to rebook I would not recommend this place to no one! Owner very rude an unprofessional attitude to customers!

IT WOULD BE ZERO STARS. THIS PLACE IS UNSAFE.THEY JUST DENIED SOMEONE WHO IS DISABLED A REFUND ON THE REMAINING DAYS THEY PAID FOR. THE REASON THEY ASKED FOR A REFUND IS BECAUSE THEY FELT UNSAFE THEIR HOTEL ROOM DOOR WAS BUSTED IN AND ROBBED AS THEY WERE OUT TRYING TO WORK LESS THEN 24HRS AGO JUST TO COME BACK AND FIND BELONGINGS GONE!!! HORRIBLE SERVICES AS THEY REFUSED SO THEY WOULDN'T LOSE MONEY INSTEAD OF THINKING ABOUT GUEST AND SECURING THEIR DOORS BETTER!!

Very nice hotel I enjoyed my experience is very warm outside the air conditioning was very refreshing I enjoyed the kitchen hotels on usually have that you have to go out local market pick up a few things I enjoy. Fantastic dinner
