Nice collection of stores and food places. Aesthetically, it's not on par with some of the other shopping areas around Bakersfield. Not as clean as the others as well. Not a place where anyone can just hang out per se but the deign is not suited for this. With a revamp and some refinement, it might compete.

I really like this Kohl's location. I go to both this one and the one off Rosedale HWY. However the Gosford location is always so much nicer. They aren't as busy and they usually have more size options to find what you're looking for.

I never noticed it before but the numbering of the aisles are not very customer friendly. For example if you are trying to get to "J" aisle and you start at the front of the store it will take you all the way to "I" which you would logically think that "J" starts after "I" but towards the back. No "J" is the opposite end of the store towards the back. That's not very logical or customer friendly. I'm sorry for elderly customers who fall into that mess of organization.
The store is just a typical Walmart but it feels more and more limited in selection and not really good prices. Only select items might be worth it to shop here. It's usually quite busy. Fortunately they have more self checkouts now so that makes it much better 👍
So I haven't had to wait too long to checkout since that changed
