Best barber shop in the area. Junior always does a good job. Definitely a place where you get your money's worth. You can walk in, but recommend setting an appointment. He is busy for a reason.

Hair cut was good I guess, don’t bother going in unless you have an appointment. You’ll be there all day. Also they don’t take credit cards so bring cash if you have the afternoon free

There's comfy well loved couches, the owner is pleasant and agreeable, knowledgeable about his profession and listens to his clientele, administering a superior service for a competitive price.

I visited Raton with my boys on spring break and asked the hotel where to get a hair cut. They recommended Junior at Good Times Barber Shop in downtown Raton. It’s worth noting that my wife has been cutting my hair for years because I could never find a place that gets it right. I told Junior a #1 guard on bottom, and a #2 on top and he blended it perfectly to fit my head with no more explanation or questions as if he had been cutting my hair for years. He also shared some information about the area which was very much appreciated. He was well mannered, friendly, and professional.
It was a great experience.
I’ll be back to get a cut at Good Times Barber Shop next time I’m in Raton. Keep up the good work! Thanks Junior

Stopped by during a vacation to get a cut. Barber (Junior) did a great job, and we had a good conversation re various goings on in New Mexico. This is the first place I stopped at in town and it was a good introduction to Raton: friendly and laid back.

The barber was rude and I can tell he didn't want to cut my hair, never said a thing to us for 2 cuts and then made excuses why he couldn't cut my hair so he could drink and watch football. Don't waste your time here.
