Good bottle refill shop is my favorite store. They sell everything I need for my home on a daily basis and great gift items. I have been buying almost all Christmas, birthday, Valentine’s Day, etc gifts here for the past 3 years. I have not met a single person who doesn’t love bar soaps from good bottle, poppy & pout lip balms, or Dip shampoo/conditioner bars as a useful and great gift. Good bottle refill shop is a unique shopping experience where you can bring your empty containers and refill with cleaning, body care, laundry, pantry, etc items by weight. Since it’s by weight you don’t need to worry about what volume/size your container is or how full it is when you bring it (genius!). There is ALWAYS someone nice to help you - so if you have kids, lots to carry, or are in a rush - someone can help fill your containers for you. The store is always clean and well stocked with great products that support circular economy. My favorite products are the magnolia lilac laundry detergent (smells amazing, super concentrated so it lasts a long time) and citrus dish soap (great for people with dry skin). Deanna, the owner and founder of good bottle, takes care to make sure she supports great brands and is very intentional about supporting a circular economy. She does her homework so that us customers can feel good about what we buy and that is very special and one of the reasons I love coming here. Not only that, good bottle refill shop is located inside the General Store Shops & Cafe which has cheeses, a bakery, and lots of great merchandise. It's easy to spend hours in here looking at all the vinyl records and snacks! They also have a loyalty program so as you shop you get points which you can redeem for $10 off inside the entire store! Overall, this place is a great store owned by lovely women with lots of passion for building community with their customers. Every time I come here I feel special and like a member of the community, even though I live pretty far. We are very lucky to have this store in NJ!

Great products, great staff, super helpful. So many products to choose from. Scented, unscented, eco friendly home products. Plus they have a pantry refill too! They are always restocking for the seasons. Can’t get enough of the new products always dropping!

They help me ditch plastic by letting me bring in bottles to refill with liquid soap, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, laundry/dish detergents, and more. Located in The General Store, it’s worth a drive in to check out their eclectic gifts and to have delicious snacks and a coffee.

When I can’t make it in, they pick up my bottles & replace them with filled bottles. The modern milkman for lots of home supplies! An easy way to help me feel I’m doing something to help the planet!

I love everything about Good Bottle Refill Shop! If you are interested in cutting down on single use plastic, then you need to visit this shop! You can bring your own containers or purchase in the shop and then reuse them again and again! You can even refill pantry items, such as avocado or olive oil, rice, nuts, or popcorn. Regarding toiletries and cleaning supplies, there are a variety of products and great-smelling scents, and besides the refilling options, there are also plenty of sustainable products such as washable dusters or mop pads, for example. The General Store, where Good Bottle is located, has got a wonderful ambiance, and the staff are all friendly and helpful. After browsing around the shop, you can enjoy a snack and a coffee from the cafe! I highly recommend visiting Good Bottle Refill Shop in the General Store!

Just had my first experience with Goodbottle and I will definitely be back. The welcoming staff walked me through their products and also helped educate me on how small changes in my life can have a positive impact on the environment. I was surprised with the amount of personal and household items, including food, offered in the store. While they do have containers you can purchase and fill, I was excited to find out I can bring in my own containers from home to refill!
This is convenient and surprisingly easy. Looking forward to coming back. Such a cute store!

What a wonderful place to come in and get high quality, sustainable products. Nicole just helped me try their shampoo and conditioner in Angelica and Lavender scent so I can cut down in plastic bottle waste. I love their loose leaf tea, the dry herbs - pretty much any product you buy in a plastic bottle can be refilled here to help save the environment. Great place in Maplewood. Highly recommend!
