This market is no longer Rio Ranch. New owner now Cardenas. Very similar store. I only buy produce and tortilla, but their kitchen is very good.

My car was stolen from the parking lot, & there was a security on duty. That didn't help. The owner wouldn't let me see the . To catch the Thief. "NOT A GOOD, safe place to shop...

It's ok. They def need help in the food service area. Every time I order from here it's a long wait, there's usually 3 or 4 people and it seems none of them really know what to do or how. The pico de gallo isn't consistent with taste, sometimes it's crazy spicy and others not at all. I like the update to the produce area and cahsiers are always friendly. It's the only mex market around so it's the only spot I can get fresh salsa or agua frescas.

Have to be aware of quality..
I purchased pre-made beans there they were so runny i didnt relize after reheating and burned myself.. I purchased a watermelon I had to throw it away. It was a mess over riped..

Think twice about doing any illegal activity here. More sales are done in the parking lot than in the stores! Locals are very filtered but very informative and friendly!
