For the past 10 years or more, I have enjoyed a weekend with my friends on LBI. Gifted by the Sea is our first stop for shopping. The store has a large variety of items for sale. I have never left this store empty handed. The clothes they sell are unique and top quality. Household items are nice, and the jewelry section is top notch. I recently purchased a garden ornament that is a heart made of blue sea glass. I have gotten so many compliments on how nice it looks in my front yard. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are always helpful when you need them. The checkout is fast and easy. There is literally something for everyone. I highly recommend the store and the staff!

For quite a few years I always made a point of stopping in and picking up gifts for family and friends. This week I went twice as they were having a sale. I bought a few items and went back the next day with my sister and adult niece. I was followed around the shop by a woman working there. She walked step by step behind me. It seemed very creepy. As I walked to the other side of the store to bring my Item to the counter she was right be hind me and when she went behind the counter she studied the security screen watching my sister and niece even though there was another worker watching them. She answered a phone call giving her name as Rose. When I was paying I tried to make small talk to put her at ease but only got grunting as a response. It was the most insulting and creepy retail experience I have ever had. It’s a shame but I doubt I’ll be back

My new favorite store to shop while visiting LBI! So glad my friend brought me to this store while I was visiting! Such cute stuff, good selection and decent prices. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful but not overbearing. I actually asked my friend to bring me back for a second time before the end of my trip. Looking forward to shopping again next year when I visit.

Really cute store with fair prices mix of home goods jewelery and clothing etc. HOWEVER I did not appreciate the blonde haired woman (I belive her name is Rose) glaring us down and stalking us around the store like we were trying to steal things. Watching us through the monitor and then is so cold and not personable while checking out. I would have bought more if I didn't feel so unwelcomed

The most expensive merchandise I have ever witnessed in a small, mediocre gift shop. The products are nice enough but this is certainly a store for more affluent customers. You are better off ordering on Amazon for these ridiculous prices.

If you’ve never been you have got to go! They have beautiful, beachy things for everyone, and your home. I especially love the jewelry and the things for my home. They make me feel beachy even when I’m not on LBI!

Not the same experience as previous years, unfortunately. Previous owners were super friendly, cordial and pleasant. Store is redone with very high priced merchandise and no longer just home furnishings and home decor. We were surprised to see jewelry, lotions, baby clothes. Staff were dismissive, basically ignored my daughter, her friend and I until we went to check out. And even then, there were no pleasantries, which had been customary until this summer. Slightly disappointed by the overall experience.
