Very friendly and, boy, do they have everything you could want! Went camping in the area and happened to be carrying around with me the blown bulb from my vacuum cleaner which I couldn't find a replacement for anywhere. Sure enough they had it and at a decent price too. Now I can see 👀 in the dark corners when I'm vacuuming. 😁 See pics.

Product variety is ok and actually good when you consider the size of the place. Prices on some products are in line with what you’d pay at a major retailer while some products you pay a small convenience tax, while on other products you can pay 4 times the amount.

It is the store that has everything. They have the best price for firewood and ice. I came in with a list of Items And an employee, OK what's on your list and let me around the store and got everything on my list..

I nearly totaled my car on the us190. Was towed to a best Western about a mile away from Gardners. I walked it there to rent a Uhaul so I could get to Bishop for a rental car. Long story short. I didn't need the Uhaul and Margaret offered to give me a ride back to the Best Western. I'm from NYC and to be stuck like I was, in the middle of "i dont know where I am"..lol..Margaret was a true Gem. I will never forget her generosity.

In the 70s we would go up to Lone Pine to go camping, when we drove though town if he was out front Mr Gardner would wave at us, and when I would go into the store, he always had a big smile and ask me what did I forget this time, because I usually did forget something for the trip, and they had anything I might need
