This is a little gem in a liquor shop 😀. The sandwiches are awesome , with fresh ingredients and the best tasting bread. The people are so nice and welcoming. They have a small sitting area enough to devour your tasty sandwiches.. tried Gobbler (turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce) and chicken pesto both were bomb.

After growing up eating some of the best hot pastrami sandwiches you can get your hands on in this country; Garden Deli definitely holds it's own with those sandwiches. Absolute must try when in Santa Cruz.

Stop here for lunch when in the area. Its a hit or miss here. The sandwhich's are only as good as the staff who makes them. But there is no way of knowing until you recieve it.

Customer service is good. Staff is friendly. The quality of sandwhich varies. Overpriced in my opinion. Unless they make it right. Today was not good quality. Not worth it. Altho last time my sandwhich was great!

Todays sandwhich was a 1star and last weeks was a 5star. If you look at other photos of the same sandwhich, you can see a difference in size.

I love this deli. I stop here before I go play disc golf at Dela. The sandwich special for the day was “The Gobbler” a thanksgiving leftovers type of sandwich. It was really good. Turkey, stuffing & cranberry’s all on sandwich. They also have tons of soup options. Plenty of drinks to choose from too.

Line is always long and the sandwiches are not worth the wait, not mention their staff is rude. Tuna os dry and the egg salad is dry, hard lady to work under Give your staff more hours so they aren't complaining when making your sandwich.

Good food.Fantastic service.I love their Daily specials.Got my favorite Monday daily special a baked potato with chili, cheese and extra butter.Yummy.Also an edit a year later when I got their Italian sub plain with with just the meat which is salami Mortadella and ham and I got cheddar cheese on it as well and mayo Plus I got a bag of cips

Sadly I hate to do this. This is my favorite sandwich shop. However, every single time I eat at Garden Liquors & Deli I get food poisoning. If I take my kids, they get sick. My wife refuses to eat due to getting food poisoning. I think their Turkey is bad or they are properly cleaning their equipment.
