Lifetime Gold Marriott, i.e. well-traveled. My experience April 2025 - 8 people in line to check in. One person at the desk. Took nearly 30 min. They still try to hide the dog & former cigarette smells (you can kind of still tell) in this old building with heavy aromatic scents. If you're sensitive to such, it's too much. If you're not, you may not even notice. Breakfast is confusing. Some have it, some don't. They didn't make that clear. Hotel is often busy so parking can be not as close to the door as others. Wonky building design. I'll leave it at that. Loud hallway noise. Who invented these clicking metal-on-metal locks? People up late, doors slamming / clicking. Alarm clock (cleverly disguised as a charing port) went off at 5:45 am. They're lucky it was bolted to the night stand or it would have ended up in the pool. Needed to get some work done but the chair had no padding on the back, so it was a seat and a metal frame. Serious. How comfortable is that? This place is among the lowest of the low-bars for Marriott. It really should not be in the brand. Tear it down or sell it to Wyndham.

Only people who want to ask fifty questions or change something should have to stand in line. |Stale aroma masked by heavy aromatic treatment (perfume). |You can tell the building was smoked in back in the day. |Breakfast: Check your plan to see if you have it included. It should be for everyone but it is not. |Noise Level: Higher than normal from being busy and the doors are so loud and no insulation. Every door near you slams shut with a loud noise. Your neighbors will equal your hallway experience here. |Excessive hallway noise last night and before 5:30 this morning. |Alarm: The alarm clock went off at 5:45. If it wasn't bolted down, they would have found it in the pool. |Desk chair: So old it had no padding in the back. Just a frame and a seat. Unusable for work. |Overall: Marriott should sell this dump to Wyndham or just tear it down.

Positive: Location near the hospital where I was visiting a family member. The hotel was very clean and the room was very nice and clean as well. Negative: Check in was difficult as their charge card machine did not like Mastercard. My card would not go through saying it was declined. Finally I had the clerk type in the card # and it went through no problem. Also, I had to change rooms because the AC died.

Hotel experience was okay... When I was there, the key card system failed, and for the first day of my visit, I had to be let in my room every time I left. Additionally, there were issues with the cleanliness of the room.

On the other hand, the staff was very polite and professional, and I had no other problems during a four night stay.

Carpets are icky and need cleaned. They're out of regular coffee for the rooms, decaf only. The front desk gave me 3 ounce bag of regular coffee, but the machines use those pouch things. They had to find me a remote for the TV because there wasn't one in the room. The bathroom sink doesn't hold water, but the hot water control leaks water all over the counter to compensate for it. The refrigerator and microwave do work, so that's a bonus. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's not their fault they aren't adequately supplied or the place isn't kept up.

Great hotel convenient to doctors and hospital. The room was spacious and clean, bed was comfy. Now, for the best part, Ms. Bobbie was so helpful and graciously accommodated our every need, including a room just steps from the elevator and exterior access. She didn't know this, but my husband is a heart patient and I have issues walking far, so a perfect set up for us. She was so kind while being very professional. We look forward to staying again!

Awesome location, Excellent customer service ....Nice breakfast however; the hallway carpet needs cleaning, laundry should be checked better (for cleanness-no soil linen), pool should have a better appearance (even if it's not being used) the hotel Vehicle is your rolling Advertisement-and should show better representation. Outside Front should ALWAYS be Presentable...this hotel is to lovely to allow it to go down.

I’ve stayed at the property twice, in 2023 and 2024. My first stay was fine, however the most recent stay in 2024 was incredibly disappointing. We will not be back.

We paid extra for a pet friendly room and it was not clean, it was disgusting. There was hair in the shower that was not ours, signaling a lack of standards when cleaning bathrooms. Additionally there was a dead worm carcass in the room, showing they’ve never cleaned or vacuumed the floors. With an extra pet fee required, and after our first stay, I expected more from this property.

I filed a complaint on 12/31 and was supposed to receive a response within 5 days, it’s taken more than 2 weeks and I have not heard back from this hotel.

Steer clear of this property. I will not make the mistake of booking here in the future and will not be back.
