This is one of the better exchanges (shopping mall on a military base) I’ve been too. Seeing as it on an Army installation is very surprising. However, I was informed this is a joint base so that might explain why. Inside the main store they have a furniture area, regular shoes and clothing, toys, fragrance, and accessories. The electronics department has a lot of variety thus I was throughly impressed. Most items are overpriced, however, you can price compare so that’s always a win in my eye! I’ve only seen one other exchange that sold firearms. If I were to compare Fort Bliss section and selection to that other exchange Fort Bliss definitely blows it out the park. They have a few kiosks outside before entering the main store. Along with your regular stores and food places.

This PX has pretty much everything you need and can be dangerous to your pocket book if you don’t watch out. I come in for 1 thing and end up leaving with things I probably don’t need, but end up getting hence dangerous.

Great customer service and a wide variety of items to choose from. The food court had great choices as well to include Charley's, Korean, Chinese, Smoothie place...There are also vendors who are set up in the entrance.

Brief found some shirts on clearance for my son as he decided to sprout during the night. One-stop shop. Was able to get needed items for the house, food, medication, and stop at a few venues. Very nice and clean setup.

I normally don’t review places but I have been thinking about this all day

I went to the exchange yesterday and tried to make a purchase. I showed my card and they said it wasn’t valid which didn’t make sense as i work on base and have purchased from there before. I let them know that I had just got an iPad at the electronics section with the same id and the supervisor told me I shouldn’t have and the person who sold it to us could get fired. She demanded I tell her who it was and I didn’t as I didn’t remember, she told me they would look at the camera anyways. I don’t like that she put that person’s job on me like it’s my fault when they should be training their employees what to look for and when I asked how I was able to buy stuff with the same military card before she wouldn’t give me a straight answer.

As she was saying this person could get fired, she then tells me how to break the rules to make my purchases by finding someone who does have a valid id and buying through them. She first said that it’s okay for food and water but when I told her I’ve gotten other things she didn’t know what to say. She went to get her manager who basically said the same thing and when I asked the manager the same question they said it can only be small stuff and that I wouldn’t be able to buy other things because I would be able to return items with the id because they wouldn’t be able to scan it (if they can’t scan it how do I get on base) which doesn’t make sense as my id isn’t tied to my purchase in anyway, it’s not like they scan them like at Costco. I think they all just need to get their policies in order or at least their answers.

I love coming here it makes me feel like I'm in another city. It's not too busy but they are rarely too busy. The Texas Roadhouse rarely has a long wait.
