From yrs ago when my ex & I would go here every weekend it use to be the best & havent been here in like 3-4 yrs until today. I remember this meal was like close to 9$ & its now close to 13$ with taxes, they really shrank the size of their quesadillas & barely give enough rice & meat! My brother recently ordered gorditas & with barely any meat inside like we paying almost $8 for a gordita at least put MORE meat!

I've been here few times, the food is better then the service. Don't get me wrong the waitresses are nice but I can literally dehydrate waiting for them to top me off on water or coffee....they serve and pretty much forget that you're at the table. Yes I understand the tables are full but at least remember to just swing by and see if your tables need anything....I waited to review them since I enjoy the food but I think from now on I'll take it to go then wait for them to follow up

I bought a gordita and a quart of chicken soup 🍲 and I think they exaggerate with the prices
Gordita de pollo (Obviously they add beans, lettuce, tomato, fresh cheese and cream, but here it is different.
-only with lettuce $6.99 only chicken, no recomendado
● beans $0.99
● cheese $0.99
● 1 non cash adjustment $0.70
Total for one gordita $9.67
Realmente no recomiendo esa taqueria, le reclame a la cajera y dijo que no podia hacer nada. I really not recommend that taqueria, I complained to the cashier and she said she couldn't do anything.

My review is for the restaurant, the food is good but there's a cashier there that has bad attitude her name is Tomasa, if she hates her job why is she working there. If she is going to work around customers she should at least be friendly.

The young guy making the gorditas makes them the best I've had there in a while...I almost didn't stop this trip to Chicago because I was disappointed the last couple times but I didn't feel like trying out a new place, glad we didn't, he made them really good... the young waitress needs an attitude adjustment, I asked her to put some cauliflower in the bowl with curtido and she rolled her eyes, unacceptable for a server to act like she hates her job, right in front of the customer... then she brought a whole bowl with one cauliflower piece in it, thought it was a joke, but it wasn't, so I didn't leave her a tip... you have to earn tips, she obviously doesn't need the money or she would be a better server... the food is terrible expensive for what you get but hey, I only go there a couple times a year...
