Amazing small town shop! Stay open a little after hours to ensure you get what you need! Open bright and early! Very kid friendly and have an amazing staff! Don’t forget the trout stocked pond right next store !

Great local tackle shop that has whatever you’re gonna need to hit the water. Steve is very personable as well as all the workers. Need advice? just ask. all new fishermen and pros welcomed! best bait selection in the area. I can’t recommend this shop enough. The parking situation is rough. wouldn’t recommend parking in the lot if you’re trailering anything. just a heads up! support your local small businesses!

Great place to get all your saltwater fishing gear. Steve and Kendel were both friendly and very helpful! This is definitely the place to go if you're in the Tuckerton area and need fishing gear or supplies. I highly recommend this place!

Highly recommend this store for your fishing needs. Brought my son, a novice fisherman and the owner gave him step-by-step instructions on how to cast and operate the rod properly. All of the employees were helpful and friendly.

Been to this place 3 times over the past few months. Owner couldn't be any nicer and staff there are pleasant. Prices are fair. Parking is tough if you are towing your boat LOL but that isn't his fault! Just know that if you are towing a boat and stopping in.

Stopped in here to get some gear after not fishing in over 10 years. I told the owner, Chris, that I am taking my kids fishing for the time down here. He said "Let's keep it simple", which was a good idea! He put line on my reel, and I got some rigs with his advice (all reasonably priced). We had a good discussion about squid vs synthetic bait, and I got a little of both. Chris could not have been more knowledgeable or friendly! And most importantly, my daughter caught her first flounder in less that 5 minutes of fishing (advantage synthetic bait!)! A great family day started with a stop at Empire Fishing and Tackle!

1st time ever going to this place as I do not fish out of tuckerton often at all, But I will tell you that Chris the owner is an awesome guy is an awesome guy and actually cares about Being there for his customers and there and excels in customer service. I. I called yesterday yesterday to see if they had a specific date in stock which they did and and told him I would pick it up on my way to my friend's Marina and ask what time they open. Unfortunately he said 10 AM and My buddy was planning on leaving by 7 AM. Without hesitation he offered to meet me at the store at 6:30 AM so I can get the bait I needed even though it was 3 and a 1/2 hours before the store actually opened. What other company would do that? Chris you're the man thanks for all all the bait and tackle. Look forward to seeing you again hopefully soon on your boat 😉
