I live in Fresno but work in Hanford. I was very pleased to find out that Hanford now has a store with not just Mexican products but they serve aguas frescas, tacos, burritos and there are other food choices. I really like the melon drink which is made with real melons. They have a nice Mexican bakery inside. I enjoyed my purchase of pan dulce which they had a special price of 5 pieces for $3.00. I almost forgot, they make their tortillas there. Freshly made tortillas just have a better taste than the standard packaged tortillas. Make a trip out there for some groceries or some good tacos.

The first time I went to this market for a cake was about a year ago. I wasnt disappointed then, and I wasnt today. With only a couple pictures i showed the woman in the bakery she was able to make this years a birthday to remember. The price, you can't beat. the cake itself, beautiful. thank you guys, it was delicious.

El Rey Supermercado isn’t too bad. Some items may be expensive while others are on sale. They do have lot of food to choose from deli section your local area and dry goods. I would definitely recommend it. make sure to take some light clothing because that store is a bit hot and does not provide AC so your shopping experience may be a biton the hot side and I’m not talking about the deals.

My parents normally come here daily which is why I gave it a 2 ☆ but I'd rather put 1 ☆. My mom told me (keep in mind she isn't confrontational) she left a bag at the store on accident, came back to grab it, just for the cashier girl to tell her she gave it to another lady. My mom asked to speak with the manager who came out extremely disrespectful not letting the cashier girl say what she just said. The manager said she wasn't responsible for taking care of the groceries which I agree but she had no right to say those awful things or be that rude. What my mom left behind in that bag was less than $10 btw. We asked to see the cameras and to check but she said she didn't have nor what to do that. 😂 My mom called police and even they couldn't do anything because by law they could only do arrests when you've been robbed $700. The police did say we could take her to court, but over $10? Nah, but I'm leaving this review to let people know they do shady stuff. Our bag wasn't given to another lady, the cashier or the manger (either one) take your groceries that you've left behind and probably put it back on the shelves or keep it for themselves. It also sucks if you're an immigrant who can't press charges even if you wanted too. Any working person knows how hard it is to make money and to be sure to spend it wisely when finding good deals.This DID happen and make sure not to leave your bags behind.....or talk to the demon of their manager. 😂

Do not shop there. The employees are suffering daily from high heat and what little bit of AC they get. Heat strok will be happening soon. My daughter-in-law is suffering throwing up. Shaking, she is weak everyday when she comes home. She is afraid to say anything she need her paycheck.

The store must not be doing well. When it first opened, it was a nice store, now, it looks like it is in dire streights. It still has a good selection, prices were ok. It has a lot of ethnic foods and such. I still go there occasionally because I like to support smaller businesses, not just the super stores.
