The newly opened Eastern Shore Ace Hardware is an asset to Baldwin County. They have a huge selection, friendly staff and big savings. This will be a goto for us through Hurricane season and beyond. The store boasts a large selection of everyday items including plumbing supplies, paint supplies, cleaning products, lights, fans, tools and utility items, gardening essentials, and more. They have a huge selection of charcoal and grilling items including but not limited to Big Green Egg, Weber, Pellet grilling supplies, FOGO charcoal and Meat Church specialty spices. Something you won’t find at a big box hardware store, they have knowledgeable staff available to help you when you need it. No searching the isles to hunt down someone to help, they come to you. A big shoutout to Lisa and Becky! Lisa helped us find exactly we were looking for and Becky made checkout a breeze. We will definitely be back. This store is kid friendly!

I went in to get wood stain for a project. I was not offered any help and had to ask where the stain was located and offered no other help. I didn’t like the stain product and won’t purchase it again. However what bothered me was the lack of customer service and that I had an Ace hardware coupon and asked if I could apply it to my purchase and was told yes. Not only did the coupon not get applied but the cashier took my coupon and did not return it to me for another possible purchase (since the coupon had not yet expired). Was this the worst customer service ever, no. But I just didn’t like the way I was treated and it certainly did not build any loyalty or confidence with me. Definitely disappointed.

As soon as I get in the store I'm asked if I can be helped, they showed me where the item I was looking for should be, but they were out so they asked if I would like to order it and did so promptly,in and out under 15 minutes and didn't have to walk a forty acre store to get what I need, I'm definitely going back for other things as I need them

Awesome Staff!!! Needed 2 specific rubs for a few racks of ribs. Staff ordered for me and had them in 1 day. Super friendly staff and a good variety of goods. Just what we needed in our area.

Been using Ace hardware for many years and never had any problems nor issues till today February 29 2024.
Usually the staff is very friendly and welcoming in other locations but unfortunately today I walked in and the staff just looked at me and didn't greet nor say anything. I went to look for some cabinet hinges. Couple of employees looked at me but didn't ask if I needed help so I went to the tools area right in front of the main door waited and waited for someone to come open the glass door so I could buy some DeWalt batteries but nobody went so I finally just walked out and went to Lowe's. I got very disappointed. Could it be because I'm Hispanic maybe they thought I didn't speak English? I don't know but I got very disappointed.... great location though.
