The food and service were excellent.
Loved the tuna tartar. The salmon was good but a little undercooked so I didn't finish it. I have an allergy to cinnamon and the waiter accommodated with another choice.
Excellent waitstaff. Definitely will be back!!

It's somewhere worth checking out, although the prices in the shops are excessive by anyone's standards.

Valley Forge Flowers and Cafe is the best place to shop on the Main Line for gifts for the whole family .

💐 Flowers live and silk which will take your breath away.

The main store and The Barn are an oasis of beauty and happiness.

Barbara King is the owner with help of her sons, John and Kyle and her outstanding support team in every area of the stores.

No need to leave to get a bite to eat, you have the selection of The Cottage, which is quite cozy, with a gorgeous fireplace.

Another choice is the Main store, with Cafe Fleur. This is a lovely area that has a parade of happy customers purchasing Flowers for special occasions and 🎁 gifts.

You come in beaming, and leave with items that you will never find anywhere else.

But most of all seeing the gentleman that started it all in the first place, Mr. Jack 🤴 King.

The food selections are fantastic, just to make your morning and or afternoon satisfied for the rest of the day till dinner time. Please remember, the Cafes shut down at 4:00pm. The young lady in charge is Barbara's niece, Erin.

I could go on and on,but this five star review must come to an end. Smiles all around.

My friend and I were in Philly for a concert, and we decided to go somewhere nice for afternoon tea together. One of the places in the Philadelphia area that served tea for a modest price was called Taste of Britain, and the value cannot be matched! I've been out for tea at high end places ($75/person), modest places ($15/person), and somewhere in between ($25/person). When considering portions, tea selection, food quality, and atmosphere, the Taste of Britain is the best place I've come across! For around $20 per guest, you get the full tea experience, and the food is phenomenal. Those tea sandwiches were delicious! Even better than the finger sandwiches I had at The Empress hotel in Victoria (but you didn't hear that from me! 😉). The atmosphere was quaint yet refined, it's a little hard to describe. Fancy cottage? It's a bit more upscale than shabby chic typically is.

Regardless, the shops here are also adorable, and had the weather been nicer (it was a rainy December afternoon) and if we weren't pressed for time (we went to the concert right after) I would've liked to view them in more detail.

Feels like a higher end little place, I've visited the British tea place and silver spoon. Both are pricier than I'm use to but they seem to be worth it. Amazing quality and delicious food every single time. Haven't explored the rest yet but I expect the quality to be similar to the ones I have experienced.
