DAC always provides me great service, if you’re looking for a new mechanic I really recommend Tony and the team there. Ive been coming here for a long time- has worked on multiple cars of mine and my family’s for oil changes, shocks/struts control arms and more.

I strongly recommend against discount auto center because they tried to sell me unnecessary work and left me wondering if they may have done worse because i turned it down. the owner is very personable and charming which lulled me into a false sense of security and i went back for an oil change even though he had priced out unnecessary work - rear struts and rear brakes - on the previous oil change 6 months earlier. at the time it was discussed those things could wait, but when i looked into them i discovered they were completely unnecessary. perhaps i should never have gone back for another oil change but people rave about this place in a local facebook group and i thought those items would be discussed with the owner. maybe his mechanic made a mistake about the rear brake shoe thickness (which has about 40% left), and in this car those rear struts may leak a little but still work just fine and don't need replacing. The owner inititally said he’d look after my car and let me know when things would need work soon, so work he priced out for me in writing the previous visit certainly fell into that category. but no such discussion took place, only his mechanic telling me my cv joint needed replacement and my rear struts were leaking. i still wanted to believe i could trust this place and told the mechanic i didn't care about the rear struts but foolishly allowed them to do the cv joint replacement. However the next morning my car made all kinds of strange noises, vibrations and rattling at odd times and in various stages of acceleration and shifting. and while i have no proof anything was done to cause it they did try to sell me unnecessary work (and i recall the mechanic reacting oddly when i told him i didn't care about the rear struts), so it's not that much of a stretch to suspect. And the car ran like a top when I brought it in. but i feel their business model is to try to transfer the maximum amount of money they can from your wallet to theirs - and me being retired on a fixed income driving a 20 y/o car (that had been meticulously maintained at the dealership prior to dealing with this place) makes their behavior that much more egregious. i even heard the owner telling his workers how he was trying to make his "end of month number", which he then explained to me was his attempt to make $1 more each month than that month the previous year. and how do you do that? well, now i think i know. my advice is stay away from this place.

Great people and great shop. This was my first time here, per a recommendation from a friend. We've had some bad experiences with other shops, but Tony and the rest of the crew really redeemed it for the whole profession. Very easy to talk to, went out of their way to explain things, worked in a timely manner, and overall just good honest people.

I will continue bringing my vehicles here and just the other day my wife went because her tire light kept coming on. We had patched one of the tires a year or so ago so wanted to make sure everything was okay. They checked to make sure it safe/wasn't anything serious, filled it up, and sent her on her way. They recommended we change it by next season and did not pressure or use any scare tactics in trying to get us to spend money, buying new tires. How refreshing. Thank you DAC!

Start of by telling everyone I don’t go online and leave a review unless im wowed. Well I am!!! Living in Monroe 18 years I have driven by this place everyday. Figured it was an overpriced garage.

I couldn’t be farther from the truth. I hit a pothole today completely destroying the tire. With this economy I said let me give the little guy a job. Instead of a Big named Tire place.

I walked in explaining what happened and I would like to replace both front tires. And if he could order and schedule install.

Long story short they installed two new tires even dropped me off locally at my house and had it done same day with everyone and I mean everybody was friendly down there. Also the price was more than reasonable.

I found a local shop if you need tires or repairs Give this smaller shop a try you won’t regret it.

Went for a quick tire replacement (mount & balance), and Joe was so nice! Took the rim and tire, told me two hours, and that they would check the plugs in the existing tire to see if they could save it. 15 minutes later, they informed me the plugs were not good, but did not recommend double plugging. They changed the tire... Called 15 minutes later and told me the tire was done! Great service... Will go back and try them for more maintenance items!

I have had multiple mechanics through my life but have not come close to finding one better and more professional than at discount. The owner Tony has the best customer service than anybody I ever dealt with in the business. Ever! He also has a tremendous amount of automotive knowledge. He and his staff are the only ones who have touched my vehicles in years. Great prices. Great atmosphere. Won't ever go anywhere else for repairs.
