So grateful for Darlene and her convenient store! We’re new horse owners and am so grateful how she’s willing to take the time to answer all questions to help us make a decision and what items we’d really need. I know she carries a lot of similar stuff you can get at big chain stores, but I love being able to support a local business. Don’t let the small store fool you, she really has a LOT in there and will give you her honest opinion on what is the right fit for you and your horse!

Darlene the owner was fantastic at helping me choose what I needed for a new setup! She is very patient,worked through her lunch and even gave us a discount. Desert Saddlery is the best and will now be my go to place for mytack needs.

I LOVE Dessert Saddlery! I've been going there since I moved to Chandler and think the owners are amazing. They both remind me of the true spirit of horse people. Tommy and his wife are knowledgeable, kind and patient. Sometimes, when they don't have a product, we find something similar...and often better than the original request. Other times, they've guided me where else to look. Yet, other times, they've ordered it for me. Their prices are good and the quality of the products they carry are definitely above average. For a small business, this is amazing because they can't buy in as large of bulk as the big stores! I've even found some of their prices as better than the big stores!

Tom, the owner, was so kind to cut a belt down for me. It was too long and I brought it in and he was so sweet and funny. I do not have a horse, but if I did I would shop here. His selection of saddles, belts, boots and other horse stuff seemed impressive to someone that doesn’t know. Plus, who doesn’t love a building with a giant horse on the balcony!

They have a lot packed into this store and I like that they carry English tack including used saddles. I love the life-sized horse on the roof. My only complaint though is that I'm not a morning person so a lot of the time they've decided to close early and then I have to go home empty handed.

Darlene and Tom are just the loveliest people you ever met. Always helpful and kind. I love going into the store, it smells like heaven and by heaven I mean leather and horse treats lol.

I was on the hunt for breyer models and this shop came up as a retailer... I found exactly what I was looking for! Although I don't actually own horses it looked like a nice selection of gear and things for those that do. Customer service was great- the woman that rang me up was so nice! I will say, you may want to call ahead and see if they are open before swinging by since it's a small business.
Can't wait to return for more goodies 🙂

Sometimes has good inventory but the owner is really annoying. God forbid you have other obligations on Saturday, the one weekend day he's open, and you have 30 minutes during work to get to and select stuff from his store. He's going to take it as a personal attack, like you designed the working hours for the overwhelming majority of the United States, (you know, 9 to 5?) and he's going to be rude to you as you rush around grabbing everything you need in 10 minutes to check out by 5, after you've literally taken off work early to shop at his store. Do yourself a favor and go to Greenway or Tack Solutions. Then you won't have to feel stupid for giving this guy your money.
