Super fun, great variety of shops and restaurants, and it’s pretty easy to find everything. We are in from out of town and went at least once every day this week! Hopefully next trip we’ll also g he ave time to catch a movie and enjoy painting something at As You Wish,

There’s a good mix of stores - both big-name and local - and the outdoor layout makes it feel more relaxed and open compared to an enclosed mall. We especially love the event spaces and occasional live music, which gives it a nice community vibe.

Parking is usually easy, and everything is walkable once you're there. It can get a bit crowded during peak hours, and some parts feel a little dated or could use more shade, but overall it’s a convenient, fun place to spend a few hours. Bonus points for the variety of food options and frequent seasonal events.

Definitely my most favorite outdoor mall in the valley. Not only is it an incredibly clean location, but the overall Zen of the place is like no other outdoor mall I have ever been to. I love how you drive up off the Main road Tatum and you see all of the beautiful lights and palm trees, including the outdoor fireplaces. I love visiting there and bringing friends and family to them and show them how beautiful our outdoor malls could truly be.

We wanted to experience the District Dome attraction. We went to the official website and were given the option to reserved the 3:15 PM time slot and we paid $120.00 plus charges. We drove all the way from Yuma Arizona. When we got there the place was closed. We talk to security and they said they didn't have any information about the place. We called many times and there was no answer. We emailed and finally after an hour walking around in the heat we were told that they open at 5:00 PM and that there's no show at 3:15 PM. No refunds. This is a scam that takes people money and then ignored the customer who paid the money and drove 3 hours for nothing. What a disappointment. This was the first and last time we visited Dessert Ridge Marketplace. It's shameful to ripped off people that all we wanted to do was have some fun times celebrating our birthday together. I'm furious about this.

This Marketplace is a super-regional shopping mall located just off the Loop 101 and Tatum Boulevard in North Phoenix, Arizona. It was built by Vestar Development Co. and opened in December 2001. The mall has a gross leasable area of 1.2 million square feet (111,000 m2).[1] The mall was targeted at upscale residents of the north East Valley, and of Scottsdale, a five-minute drive from the mall via the freeway.[2][3]

It's similar to Tempe Marketplace but feels newer. The misters and fans are excellent. We were able to enjoy shopping at this outdoor mall because of these fans, misters and lots of shade.

They have pretty decent food options too! We saw two Korean style food places, Slices Pizza shop, a Mediterranean style restaurant, Jimmy Johns, Panda Express, Cold Stone Creamery and more.

There's also a small playground and a splash pad.
