Stupid expensive, but unique pieces that I love. I won't buy any more plants from them. I spent 100 bucks on a sick tree. They hid this surgery they did on the tree by covering it with potting soil. As soon as it was planted a systemic fungus took hold. I believe it was present and I believe they knew about it. Sure you can argue all day about the conditions not being right after it left the nursery but they know all the plants are leaving and going to be going through a certain amount of shock when they change hands.

Why didn't they give this tree a fighting chance? Profit.

Did I give them a chance to correct this mistake No. But I think that if they would go to these lengths to hide something like this in the first place, they probably won't take any blame.

The real kicker about my last shopping experience is that they let an employee help customers who can't help at all.

It's amusing to me when a man half my age says " I can't lift over 5 lbs". If he's on light duty why wasn't he scheduled to work inside at the register?

He also didn't know anything about yuccas. Had to ask one of the five people working.

So that means they have too many employees. I'm assuming that's why the prices are so high. So they can pay their friends and family's wages.
Native gardens might be better for plants but look under the soil first.

Love this place!! And as far as the options here in green valley don’t waste your time at native gardens, they are ageist and shallow. Desert Bloom has some of the kindest people and they are always willing to help. I always feel welcome and love chatting with the employees. They always have a solution and recommendations. Even when browsing I never feel like I’m being judged or like they want me to leave. My #1 spot for my plant and landscaping addiction and they will always get my money and time!

I was very disappointed with the level of customer service I received. I struggled to find someone willing to help me as I don't know much about native plants. The one person I spoke to was very dismissive and made me feel foolish for asking questions. I wouldnt recommend shopping here if you're a Novice gardener.
