The signs say it all. This is an old school bakery that never gets old. Only $4.75 for 6 donuts is a deal these days..I missed out on the Boston Cream, but the mixed ones I got were excellent.

Awesome dessert offerings from one of the small local bakeries in NJ. I’ve been hooked on their cheesecakes since college, when my roommate brought one to the dorm. Not an easy spot for me to get to since I don’t drive and live in NY. So it’s a treat every time someone can bring me back some of these desserts from NJ.

Most of the items in the attached photos require calling ahead since they’re not normally on display. Mini apple turnovers, cupcakes and Napoleon cheesecake is usually available without ordering ahead. The other ones like the mini cheesecake, key lime pie and small apple pie need to be called in ahead. I wanted small portions so I could pig out on a little of everything 🙂

I’m lactose intolerant, so I always take a lactaid pill before eating most of these. The mini apple turnovers are the only ones I can eat without my lactaid pills. But the creamy goodness of those other ones are totally worth it.

It’s been many years since college, their cheesecake is still my all time favorite. Even compared to some of the well known chains that specialize in cheesecakes and some of the fancier restaurants, their cheesecake can hold its own. They usually always have plain ones available for walk-in orders. If you don’t want to pig out on a dessert spread like I did and want to try just one thing, the cheesecake would be my recommendation.

Very reasonably priced, the mini cheese cake was $3. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area, especially if you’re like me and are used to a “midtown premium” on food and desserts that aren’t even half as good as these. Call ahead if you want something specific though, their hours and dessert offerings for walk-in orders might be limited because of the pandemic right now. I usually tell me friend a couple of days in advance when I want something from this bakery.

We use to buy cakes for all occasions here until they started selling old cakes. The fruit had mold and rotting. This was the case not one time, not two time but three times.

Gave it another chance and was going to call in an order. The lady on the side of the phone was rude and said she recognized my voice. I’ve never ordered or called to order over the phone. Usually walk in. Didn’t get a chance to even tell her what I was going to order.

Done supporting this establishment. Im also a business owner in totowa and love supporting local. But they seem like they don’t care about their store

since Mon 02/24/25 Tried numerous times to order a birthday cake, the lady that answered the phone was RUDE and didn't want to take the order and kept telling me to call back later, they also want a full payment before the cake is made or picked up. This is a poor way to run a business will Not be ordering anything from them again...

Been LOVING this place since the 1960's! So grateful it's still open and still offering AMAZING cakes and pastries! Thanks for everything! I live far away now in another state but still go way out of my way to come here whenever possible!

I stopped by in the morning to try out I picked up a blueberry pastry and a cheese type of danish . They were both very average nothing special . I do not think they were that fresh maybe a couple days old they were not stale but the taste was off. I wanted to like this place .They have coffee station here. Service was fast and good . I think they should have tables outside so people could eat their pastries with coffee there.It would make it more inviting.

Me and my husband have come here a few times and the service is always great and there baked good are amazing with great prices. So happy we found this local spot.
