Stopped in on a recent trip to Holbrook but quickly regretted it. The lack of options was disappointing - the menu was very limited and almost completely different to the photos on Google. Service was ordinary and the food took forever to come out, especially considering I was the only one in there. My 1st and last visit to Dairy Queen.

Very large pot hole in the drive through.
The rest of the parking lot is a little rough too.

We were ordering our food at this Dairy Queen and the person at the register was being difficult. We asked for butter on our toast and they said that it wasn’t recommended to use the cooking butter as food toppings. Why would you use butter to cook with if you can not consume it directly on top either? Obviously it’s bad for you either way cause you’ll be consuming it. She then started yelling at us after we payed 40 bucks on food. She was yelling at us for her mistake in getting the wrong food!?! This place is horrible I do not recommend it.

Awesome experience. Really friendly cashiers and cooks. Always smiling 🙂
Food was fresh and tasty and not too greasy. Ice cream was smooth and creamy and sweet!!
Extremely clean dining room and bathrooms. Don't forget to ask about the history.

Ordered a banana split. I guess it could be called one but I wasn't impressed. It had a small, sliced banana with some soft serve ice cream instead of real ice cream, a small tablespoon each of chocolate, strawberry and chocolate sauces, a smattering of whipped cream and half of a maraschino cherry. I wish I had taken a picture to post. It didn't even have chopped nuts. Considering how it was made, it took a pretty long time to bring to the drive up window.
Speaking of which... The drive-up window is right next to the street. Other cars waiting on line behind us were stopped out in the road. That's an accident waiting to happen. We would have moved but we were told to wait at the window. As for the person training our order, although she wasn't surly, she wasn't friendly either.
I won't be going back to this Dairy Queen or any other one. My suggestion is to go someplace that serves real banana splits.

I was excited to see a really old restaurant still operating. The food was great for fast food. It was hot and fresh, the pretzel sticks were perfect and the hamburger bun was so shiny and beautiful lol I felt like I needed to leave a review because I was so happy lol

Dairy Queen always makes me feel like a kid again. I came here to try their New York blizzard cheesecake. They were very friendly and served it extremely fast. I’m now sitting in the corner, enjoying my dessert and deciding if I want to buy more. I figured the more I eat the faster I can get into the Holbrook Cemetery across the street. ?

We went through the drive thru and Nicholas greeted us with a friendly smile and was attentive, helpful and friendly. The blizzard and peanut buster parfait he made us were the best we’ve had. Thank you for an awesome DQ experience.
