Loved it. Very comfy. Loved the recliners in room to chill at end of day. Sunken garden tub was a surprise but was very nice. Would have preferred a 1st floor room, but I didn’t reserve ahead of time so I was lucky to get the last room. If I go back to Chama, I will stay there again..

Lucked out on finding this place after booking ride for next day on Cumbres & Toltec train ride. Were able to book a room for two nights. Very clean and quiet; could park right outside the door to room. So convenient to railroad depot. The continental breakfast was much appreciated.

We came into town to ride the train and found this place and it was a clean spacious room at a reasonable price. Would stay again.

Largest hotel room I have ever had; very clean. Nice continental breakfast, with different kinds of juices, cereal, fruit, frozen omelets, etc. Really nice owners. Contrary to what the name might suggest, this is more of a lodge and a very small mom & pop operation.

Owners are very nice and run the place very professionally. The room is nice sized and comfortable. Their dog Bacon is wonderful and great with the guests. They don’t use any fancy reservation system but handle things old school and it works well. Breakfast is great too. All around a wonderful stay.

We stayed one night after riding train. Based on comments from others on the train I think we made the best selection for accommodations. Cumbres Suites is very clean modest accommodations. The owners were super friendly. It was a very quiet safe place. We would definitely stay again.

Friendly family owned motel. The rooms were clean and simple, nothing 'fancy', no complaints. The coffee, continental breakfast area is clean and easy. I would stay again. Also, I left some jewelry in the room and they called me to arrange it's return. Top notch.

This place is wonderful! Terri and Kip are incredibly kind and they really make you feel at home. It’s clean, in a good location and very comfy. As a CDT hiker having a place that makes you feel like you aren’t living out of a backpack all the time is pretty special, so glad we stayed here. The breakfast is also amazing! Highly recommend.
