My family booked a room here at the last minute while traveling back home from the Grand Canyon. No one expects much of a "port in a storm" hotel booking, but this actually turned out to be the best accommodations of our whole trip.

The beds were comfortable, the pillows ample, the room clean and well-stocked, and the shower was amazing. Dual showerheads and perfect water pressure are an amazing luxury after driving for over 9 hours.

The breakfast was more than adequate - waffles, eggs, sausages, hot or cold cereal, bagels, etc. No one left hungry.

I'll definitely book this hotel the next time I'm in Roswell, NM!

Positive: The staff was amazing. They were knowledgeable about the hotel and went above and beyond. Everyone was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They greeted us every time we crossed paths and were very attentive. Negative: The pool. The temperature of the water was super cold and not enjoyable. The kids didn?t even swim long and they never complain about a chance to swim.

This place has good coffee, good breakfast, a nice pool and a nice gym.

All it’s lacking is leadership. It’s a nice property with nice amenities and a medium nice staff

Our toilet had pee on the edge of the bowl which made us skeptical about the rest of the rooms cleanliness. The ac units look gross because they’ve not been cleaned in over a year. We had two pillows that smelled like garbage so they must have not been washed. Our babies feet turned black after about five minutes on the carpet. The pool had piles of dirt on the bottom. The pool towels were not stocked.

None of these issues are dangerous or even that disgusting. Just a bunch of little things that make this room feel unpleasant and the pool feel unwelcoming and the place feel like a place I want to leave as quickly as possible.

All these things are easily solvable problems that some basic cleaning systems and training could fix.

Sheets were clean. Pool seemed nice, beds were comfortable coffee was delicious. Breakfast was really quite good.

The pool was ice cold and dirty on the bottom. The "required" shower in the pool area didn't work, the handle just spun pointlessly.
The sauna was barely warm and the jets were weak (are there supposed to be bubbles)
The coin operated laundry machines were on their very last weak and emaciated leg. The washer was very gross, was missing a foot so it wobbled loudly when it spun. The dryer wasn't even attached to the vent leading outside, dangerous layers of lint in the room; also caked on the vent outside the laundry room, and the dryer made an awful noise. Both the washer and dryer had metal shavings next to the coin slot, not really something someone wants in their laundry, and they sat on broken floor tiles. Hopefully there was no one in Room 201, I would feel so bad for them.
The toilet in the guest room wobbled and the seat was loose. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling in multiple places.
Concerning staff, to the desk clerk who I asked about the location of the laundry room, and also purchased laundry detergent from, the most effective time to offer change for the machines would be then, not after the guest walks all the way upstairs to find that their is no change machine.
Overall, not an awful stay, but definitely not a pleasant experience.
One would think Choice Properties would have an inspection occasionally to assure situations like this aren't left ignored for so long.

We had a very spacious room with a seating area including a sofa, arm chair, and a desk with chair. We apparently were given an unexpected upgrade, with a large jacuzzi tub in the room. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi jets didn't work, so it was really just a big bathtub. But that was OK since we weren't expecting this perk to begin with. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly. Would stay here again.

I’ve stayed in this hotel a few times now and never had any issues, but this time I was a little disappointed. When me and my spouse walked into our room, we were greeted by a big, dried up, bloody snot glob on the wall. Then in the bathroom, there was rust leading down into the tub to the point where I didn’t feel comfortable with taking a bath. We were able to switch rooms which was a lot better. Only downside of the new room was that they didn’t have the blackout curtains to block the sun in the morning, so the sunlight woke me up pretty early in the morning. There was a noisy family next to us who let their kids run around the room early in the morning to the point where it sounded like they were running up and down the hallway. That’s not on the staff, and I took care of that issue myself. I told the staff at the front desk about the issues we had with the first room, but overall, would stay here again.

Positive: Room was quiet and large. Sheets in cupboard made it easy to cover the dirty couch and use it. Friendly front desk, but cranky breakfast helpers. Negative: Hot tub was not working. Attempting to charge a resort fee, the staff double charged for the room then refunded a portion the following day. Breakfast was under stocked - no hot water, cream cheese, peanut butter, alt milk, etc.

The property terribly needs updating (I understand) but it's also dirty and neglected (Unacceptable). There was black mold all along the bathroom ceiling. The blankets were blood stained on both queen beds. There were blood stains on the yellowing shower curtain. We should have moved to the next hotel but I prepaid and insisted on being placed in a room after the front desk tried to disregard my reservation admitting that they overbooked. I originally booked because the reviews seemed okay. I feel like other consumers need to be warned. I felt bad putting my family in that room.
