I shop around and price compare. Prices at this Clothes Mentors are more expensive than if you were to shop the clearance racks. Some stores will also allow you to use a coupon. Also I've found the same items at Good Will for less at the same if not better quality. Marshall's ,TJ maxx and Ross have some of these items and the prices are less. Shop around and look at tags you'll be surprised!!!

I don’t recommend this place. I've always had bad experiences with them, and let me explain why.

In 2022, I went to a Clothes Mentor shop to sell my Michael Kors sandals. They offered me only $5, and I decided not to sell them. I told the employee that I would go ahead and sell the rest of the dresses they had selected. She sarcastically asked, “Don’t you want to sell the other items as well?” I reiterated that I wanted to sell everything except the sandals. She then repeated that sentence sarcastically twice, which made me feel uncomfortable. After that, I decided not to return to the shop.

I hoped they might have changed their attitude towards customers over the years, so on March 1, 2025, I drove five miles and spent my gas and time. I brought five large baskets and suitcases, most of which contained new items with tags. Some were high-end brands. However, they told me that since I arrived in the afternoon, it would take hours to process, and it would be better to come for pickup the next day. Disappointed, I drove the five miles back home.

The following day, I returned, again spending gas to drive there, but ultimately they bought nothing from my five suitcases & baskets . When I walked in, the staff was not welcoming, and when I picked up my items, they were gossiping and laughing. It was really disheartening.

I can’t help but wonder if their behavior was influenced by my being Muslim, or perhaps because I have Asian features, or even due to how I looked after undergoing eyebrow tattoo removal, which left some redness around my eyebrows on that day. Regardless, I am healthy enough. Thanks God. and it’s disappointing to encounter discrimination in this day and age.

It's a shame that in the 21st century, people still hold onto prejudices against those from different backgrounds, cultures, or appearances. Their behavior reflects a backward mindset.

I picked up all items and went to another shop immediately, and sold a lot. It convinced me that how Clothes Mentor was unfair towards me.
I wish I never spent my gasoline and time going there.
I encourage you to consider going elsewhere to sell their items. Clothes Mentor failed in having good customer service, fair and without discrimination environment.

Stephanie is such a great person, not just a great employee, she was very honest about a purchase I made, and I am forever grateful for her honesty. I will defintely shop here again and recommend to my friends and family.

I’ve been going to Clothes Mentor since they opened years ago. I love the huge variety and the reasonable prices. Everything is clean and neatly displayed and organized.
Stephanie and the entire staff are wonderful and friendly!
Erika is so helpful and kind. She gives me her honest opinion if I ask her about something I’m wanting to purchase, and I appreciate that. I love watching her “lives” on Instagram!

Awesome selections. Friendly lady at the reg. Great location. Price is fair. Just like any other small thrift store. If you need cheap but like name brand stuff, I do recommend this shop. P.s. I found pieces to my costume here, and it was like spot on! I'm so thrilled! (It was my first time there today, and I will be back)

This place is a total rip off. I had taken a good amount of clothes into them to possibly sell they were all top brand and in excellent condition. I had a pair of Miss Me jeans brand new with tags still on them originally $110.00 and they offered me $5!!! I was shocked and insulted really. Now i see why all their locations are closing down. The owner needs some training on CS and how to run a business. Will never shop there again.

A friend recently introduced me to the Clothes Mentor. After I bought a few pieces, I decided to bring clothes in to sell (10/5). There were items that I brought in that were not returned to me nor was I given credit for them. I will be contacting them today 10/6; hopefully this was just a mistake. Shout out to Turn Style in Chandler; phenomenal place to consign and shop!
