Cute place! This place is takes you back to what the old west represents. Simplicity, but with modern conveniences. I liked that is was not the typical corporate style room.. The suite was quite large and the bed was very comfortable. Also beautiful bedding with lavender flower sheets and candy on the pillows. I loved the large, clawfoot tub and the shower was lovely. My only concern was in Suite 1, there is a step up onto the bathroom area from the bedroom. This could be a challenge if you're not paying attention. The hotel has self check in, which is easy and convenient, and assistance is just a phone call away. The bar is next to the hotel. A little bit of noise, but not annoying. A great place to stay in a beautiful, sleepy little town.

Definitely a wonderful bed and comfortable room. Staff is wonderful! A stay during the week was very relaxing.||Not much to do in Clifton, itself. But was a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle and close to many scenic spots.||We visited Morenci, Safford, and Roper Lake. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and welcoming.

This was our second time renting the entire hotel for our paranormal investigation friends and Chelle was an amazing host as usual!

The rooms are spacious with plenty of room to stretch out. The beds are comfy and the common area was fully stocked with hot apple cider and coffee.

We truly love the Clifton Hotel and Bar!

Passing through on a motorcycle ride down from the Coronado trail and stayed for the evening. The history of the hotel was full of imagination, making us wonder about all the folks who stayed here over the past 100+ years... Great job on the current reno, spacious and comfortable. Check in/out was a snap.

This is a very comfortable spacious hotel that takes you back to what I would assume the early 1900s were. All the rooms were completely renovated by Matt & Karen to reflect the era they were originally built without the size constraints... 🙂
The rooms are big and the bathrooms have cool claw foot tubs and walk in showers there are done really well.

The hospitality of Karen & Matt is beyond amazing. They are great hosts who you will definitely see and talk to. They genuinely care about all their guests.

A trip to Clifton just to stay at the Clifton Hotel is well worth it.

For those who know the hotel from a certain show..... My wife and I didn't have any ghostly visitors while there.

Thanks for the great stay Karen & Matt!!!! We'll be back

One word of caution... don't roll your ankle in high heels on the bottom landing.... 🙂

Matt and Karen are the perfect host to this beautiful renovated hotel. Absolutely stunning. The rooms are so big and roomy. It's like you have stepped back in time when you enter this hotel. They have worked hard restoring this hotel. I was there with friends and everyone had a wonderful stay. Relaxing, elegant and beautiful.

I will be back in April with people from my tour and we have booked all the rooms. I want everyone to see how spectacular this place is. And meet Matt and Karen. So kind, friendly and helpful.

I was there scoping out the town for my Haunted Arizona Tour in April and was extremely pleased with the whole town and the nicest people you would ever want to meet.

As far as the Clifton Hotel, I would stay there again and again.

My buddies and I were motorcycling through Arizona and stopped at The Hotel Clifton. We LOVED our stay here. Karen, one of the owners, was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable. She gave great recommendations on what rooms would best fit our needs and was a valuable resource for history of the hotel and town, of which there is quite a lot! The hotel is clean, cozy, and affordable. Would highly recommend. Thanks again Karen!

The Clifton Hotel was a wonderful experience. The owners are just simply amazing and so welcoming it was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. This renovated hotel has a history behind it that just has to be seen to truly understand the love and passion behind this restored hotel. The rooms are beautiful and very well done with your modern amenities. We will be back, i can honestly say they made us feel like family and Karen and Matt were top notch in everything. Do yourself a favor venture to Clifton and stay at the Clifton Hotel take a stroll to the cave jail across the bridge at night its a little spooky then grab a drink at the hotel bar and get some apps. You wont regret the stay.
