I love shopping at this gallery! The staff members are so friendly and helpful. They have a wonderful selection of pottery, rugs, and other art pieces. On one trip to Taos, my husband and I shopped here before even going to our hotel and walked out with this wonderful piece of art depicting the Taos Pueblo.

I have been going to Chimayo del Norte since 2005. Hands-down, it is my favorite gallery in New Mexico. Gabe, Alicia, and all of their people who have worked there over these years have always offered personable and knowledgeable information and advice. I have bought rugs, pottery, and jewelry from them. I truly believe that Chimayo has the best prices on rugs in the south west. I have sent friends to them to get appraisals. I stop in to say hello every time I’m in town. If you are ever in the area you must drop in!

The Chimayo Trading Gallery is a great place to visit filled with unique offerings. Their atention to the cultural roots of New Mexico is a fine tradition. The benches ourtside the store are a pleasant place to sit and reflect. Well worth visiting.

Very worth the short drive down from central Taos!!!
We loved the regional artworks curated by these experts. Beautiful paintings, pottery and basketry that we intend to add to our home. Found some new (to us) favorite artists. Gallerist Rae was an extremely knowledgeable host sharing the details and back stories of the pieces.

This Art gallery is one of the best in Taos as it shows works by the old Masters as well as contemporary artist worth investing in, and their jewelry, rugs are all fine collectibles!

This gallery, next to historic Ranchos Church, is a gem!! Authentic native wares, along with some great Southwest paintings, in a wonderfully displayed old adobe dwelling! Has a feel of the since gone, old trading posts! The family has trustworthy generations in the business!! This is a must see!!
