I've wanted to go here for years. We bought a house in Lemon Grove 3 weeks ago and I finally grew the courage to learn how to make fresh Mexican food. This place is amazing. The meat is fantastic and they had everything I needed to make a few recipes I've been wanting to try. I'm a little embarrassed of my Spanish sometimes but both folks working here were patient and I can't wait to go back. Support your neighborhood grocers. They work hard for the community and deserve our business.

Went once after I had moved into the neighborhood, I had always seen it passing by but never stopped to check it out. Well I finally decided to, Amazing customer service. I bought carne asada and it was delicious, prices were fair. The lady at the register was so kind, helping me find things I was looking for ( the place is small but they have alot of things you might think they dont) I especially loved that they had REAL, FRESH corn tortillas. Glad I decided to take a look. Thank you!

This is a tiny, hole in the wall type of place that sells the freshest dulces de camote. Also, you might try their produce. I find it is reasonably priced and ready to eat ripe. The people are friendly and down to earth.

Small place with great meat and most everything else you could want if you're making Mexican food. Very clean, really friendly. If you don't see the meat you want (e.g, brisket) just ask.
