We stayed here before and after our snowshoeing trip in southern Colorado, and this place was a perfect 10/10 in every way. The room was incredibly comfortable and spotless, and the customer service was outstanding. The owners are truly amazing—it’s clear they genuinely care about making guests feel welcome and ensuring they have a fantastic experience. They kindly held my work bag while we were out on our trip, and when I accidentally left my headphones behind, they even offered to send them back to me. Their kindness and attention to detail set this place apart. If you're visiting Chama, this is an absolute must-stay!

We have stayed in a king room during two different trips up to the Chama area and have enjoyed our stay on both occasions. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The staff is friendly and attentive. During our last stay we left a dome light on in our vehicle and they kindly sent a text letting us know so we could turn it off. That simple act of kindness and observation is very much appreciated.

Arrived early evening. Very friendly attendant. She said she was filling in. Nice room. We would stay again. Great dinner and breakfast just down the road at "My Mom and Dad's Place". We had enchiladas and tamales, then huge ham n cheese omelet and eggs with Chorizo( bring you own).

Stopped in for a short rest and shower. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was rustic and clean. Highly recommend if you don’t need a high-end place to stay.

Absolutely 5 stars on everything.
Inside and out - very clean, updated, but maintained in the same exquisite style , plenty of space and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend and would stay again.
Dog friendly, the 15$ room pet fee covers dog blankets, which is nice and convenient .
Overall, great people, easy to check in and communicate, friendly.
Great stay.

This motel is awesome! The bed was great, the room is lovely and updated and they treated my pets like royalty! There is a diner next door for breakfast and lunch that is awesome. I will definitely stay here again. Beautiful little motel and pet friendly!

The managers are so kind and thoughtful. I would stay here again and again. Very clean, heater worked great and quiet. Room #15 is a gem. I liked the ceiling beams, very nicely done

What a great surprise! We come through Chama every year and have stayed at other places. The rooms are clean, beds are great, showers were an extra surprise. It was quiet and sleep was great! My favorite was the doggie bag they give so our dog would be cozy during her stay. They have so many "extras" that make this place special. They definitely go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We talked with many different people while there and they were all very happy and wanted to do anything to make our stay perfect. We will always stay here. Just can't get any better. Thank you Chama Trails Inn Family!
