Bought a an LG double wall oven the end of November. Was told shipping week before Christmas. After a number of contact attempts got a reply early January (salesperson out sick for two weeks). Got an email saying delivery co would contact me in the next couple days. Email was quickly followed up w another saying I had a balance due. The balance due was $800! A 30% increase on my initial paid invoice. The only response - the sales person used an old price sheet. Bait and switch?
I needed an oven so paid. The install guys were great. Oven looks good. But a 30% error only found when I was getting the delivery?! Shady. No more business from me.

Update. Manager.Colby Davis called this morning and apologized for the situation. He has initiated a refund to the original quoted price. Righting the situation was all I asked. Thanks

Purchased many $$$k of Wolf, Cove, and GE Monogram appliances from Central Az Supply. Also purchased an installation package. Installer said he could not install a hood duct cover due to it not being supplied with the purchase. When we inquired, we were told that the model we had purchased was no longer in production and it would take a long time to get the required cover, if it was even available. We had one made by a local sheet metal person and tried unsuccessfully to install it ourselves. We called Central to ask for help with it and was told they didn’t sell us the cover so they could not do anything. I mentioned that we had purchased installation and that it should include the duct cover. They said it wasn’t their responsibility due to not knowing what the ceiling type or height was and therefore couldn’t have known what it would take to cover the duct. Seems like they should have should done a site visit or reviewed our remodel plans to determine what was needed to insure a complete installation. Not good customer service to leave this “problem” to the customer to figure out, especially given the cost to the appliances and the installation package. The sales person I talked to was supposed to check with others there and call me back. It’s been almost a month and I haven’t heard from them. Kind of sad to tell a customer that a hood installation does not include a duct cover.

"Never attribute to malice what can easily be attributed to stupidity"

I have been having trouble with my water in a new home that I purchased. Looking into it I found my water heater was only a year old and was purchased just over a year ago at Central Arizona Supply. I recently spent 2 months getting the run around from these guys. Every time I asked for help or suggestions, they would tell me to contact the manufacturer or just buy a new water heater. I did contact the manufacturer and was given much better help. Manufacturer told me what parts I needed to fix the issue and to go to CAS to get the parts. I went to get the parts and explained what the manufacture had told me to pick up. They told the part "Didn't exist". I explained further the part, the water heater it was going on, the serial number and model number of the water heater, and pictures of the part on my water heater. I was yelled at and told the part "Does not exist". Finally after getting the serial number of the part from the manufacturer and bringing that in did they finally agree the part existed, but immediately told me "It's not under warranty!". I was not even worried about the warranty, I just wanted to fix my water heater. I had them order the part and then got to thinking maybe I should check the warranty. The manufacturer let me know my parts are still under warranty and should be covered. I called CAS and they told me because I did not buy the water heater, the previous owner did, they have an internal policy to not honor the warranty. So I called CAS's supplier and the manufacturer back to check on this policy. Both the manufacturer and Southwestern Mechanical Sales let me know they had never heard of someone not honoring the warranty for said reason. I talked to several reps from each of them and they were aghast that CAS told me they would not honor my warranty. When I went to pick up my part yesterday, I asked again about the warranty. Stephen at sales desk starting yelling and slamming my box on the counter top. Told me this time "The manufacture told us we can not honor your warranty!" and then told me to get out. I have contacted their supplier who all seem really puzzled by this this treatment and them not honoring the warranty. I also found out there is a competitor here in town. Hughes Supply is down the street and sells all the same supplies. This $58 part they will not cover is the beginning of me telling all my neighbors, friends, and any other random person to not buy parts from CAS or let their plumber use them. It's obvious the sales guys at CAS Hate home owners coming in and shopping for supplies on their own. What's not so obvious is if the lies I was told repeatedly were that of malice or just sheer stupidity.

Poor, non-sales experience followed by no return phone call from the manager. Chuck - I was hoping that you'd call me back before I got to Home Depot, but you didn't. You didn't. I've bought many things at this shop, but won't again. A disinterested sales clerk who didn't even bother to get up from her desk behind the counter followed by a complete lack of interest in helping me buy a nice toilet from them. Wow - way to not sell. I prefer buying local and supporting local/state businesses, no longer this one.

Went in to get a simple plumbing part for a sprayer hose, the genius behind the counter said to get a new faucet, went to Home Depot and found exactly what I needed.

The parts counter just doesn't seem to be all that knowledgeable and just wants to find ways to not do their job. Was upset he had to stop talking to help a customer.
