Actually went to Kings fish house for a birthday lunch with my family and in laws. Food was great and service was somehow even better. Was a bit sad looking at the lobsters but hey, people gotta eat and I'm sure there are plenty of lobsters out there still.

Great deli, excellent array of store made bakery and deli assortments, produce is beautiful and a large variety of national brands to choose from. Not the cheapest around, but you get what you pay for.

I think Carlsbad has some of the best places for great holiday deals. I’ve gone here before for Black Friday shopping and it’s always delivered on quality items for very low prices. I remember one year for black Friday shopping, I went and there was a bus load of visitors that came just to do shopping and left the same night.

If you’re looking for a fun activities to do for shopping, highly recommend, going to Rubys for lunch and then go shopping in the area, and then get some ice cream or chocolate in the outlets for dessert.
