A diamond in the hiding! There is NOT one bad thing to say about this place! It literally shocked me! Great atmosphere, great service, great food.... magnificent! If you're in the area, hunt it up. I promise you won't regret it!

The food is great and so is the service. However, the new restaurant manager and assistant manager are extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Me and my husband were in there eating and both "managers" came out screaming/cursing at one of the workers in front of the customers. Not only is that unprofessional but absolutely unnecessary. They have got to go and hire new managers. Otherwise they will run that place into the ground.

Delightful family owned restaurant serving home cooking at its finest. If you are traveling near Camden, Arkansas, this is a must do! Delicious breakfast and lunch menu, friendly waitstaff and hot coffee await you. First time dining at Cardinal Cafe and was pleasantly surprised. Small town diner/Cafe feel to the interior. Very friendly staff and patrons. I ordered the Catfish Sandwich with fries and thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend Cardinal Cafe and I'll be back soon.

Mmm escaped my mouth as a hot and heavy breakfast was set before me. Land of Lakes butter instantly became one with grits and toast.  I began to visualize grandpa butchering a winter hog while savoring the smoked bacon . The atmosphere was a little dark as ceiling fans spinned like windmills. The waitress was attentive and brought food in a timely matter. Breakfast is best meal of the day.

Since the original owner sold out years ago it's been horrible, no more home cooking, frozen hamburgers and food and ridiculous prizes, it's now for sale for an outrageous price
