We paid $900 for a 9' LED tree in December 2019. Last year in December 2022, we noticed the lights starting to go dim. According to the manual from California Backyard as well as a phone call to them, "lights" are not covered under warranty. Weird what else is there then? When i bought this tree I was told this tree would last us a lifetime, that we would pass it down to our kids. Well after not even 2 Christmas's, I called them again this year to see what we can do about our tree. They don't offer any repairs on LED trees. UMM no repairs, ok. I spoke with Korina who told me out lights should have been covered for three years and we could have got a tree replacement last year. I told her that we called last year and they said light were not covered (also states so in attached manual provided to us by CB). She offered me an extra 10% off a new tree, IF I brought my old tree back.........Umm so you want my $900 tree back to give me 10% off another $1600 tree So we would be in $2500 for a tree we used only two times? So you can fix and resell our tree to someone else for $1000 what a scam. They owed us a new tree last year but told us lights were not covered. Now they say nights are covered but too bad you should have done it last year. Complete garbage. We have a barely working Christmas tree, that cannot be repaired (I even tried to replace bulbs but LED is a different animal apparently). Thanks CB for taking our $900 for a tree that only worked for 2 years, and not replacing it, and offering 10% off if we give you our tree back. TERRIBLE. Only the green lights work and the top middle section is nearly burned out entirely. I plan to follow up with a post of facebook as well.

I have been shopping year for years. I think I have one of everything except a hot tub. They do such a great job decorating their trees for Christmas and I always find more to add to my holiday collection. I feel they have quality products that last a long time, but the real reason I shop here is because of the outstanding people they hire like- Michael and Bupie who provide excellent customer service. I know they are working hard during this holiday season and I appreciate their smiles and Holiday Spirit. Nowadays its so hard to find hardworking people and California Backyard is lucky to employee such great employees!

Go see Seth!! He is patient, helpful and knows his products. We have been working with him for a couple years now. We wanted long lasting quality outdoor comfort and got exactly that with our OW Lee set. He answers emails and returns calls. He is honest with time frames and delays. We encounter some but he kept our expectations real. Delays from manufacturer not Cal Backyard. We live an hour from this location but prefer this location. There selection is large. They have a great Christmas selection during the season. Thank you Seth and California Backyard!

I needed to find a special plug for the lights on my artificial Christmas tree and after several hours of searching, I found one at California Backyard. The salesman i dealt with was great and the service terrific.

If you are not wealthy, think about what you'd consider to be a ridiculous price for patio furniture and then double that, and that's what you'll find here. Save your time by going elsewhere to find affordable stuff. Their furniture seems nice and well made, the people were nice, but I saw a table with chairs that was advertised LOOK! like it was some "big sale"... Well, you can see the picture. That being said, they have some neat decoration type stuff, also $$$ but not to this same extent. I will probably never come back here unless I somehow strike it rich and want a ginormous patio set, but even then, I'd probably still hesitate to support this overinflated pricing (hey, just my two cents!)

We recently purchased a Jacuzzi hot tub from Dan at California Backyard’s store in Rancho Cordova, CA. We were extremely impressed with Dan’s knowledge of the products and his dedication to helping us find the perfect hot tub for our needs. I never felt pressured and he answered all of my questions in detail and in a timely manner. As a career salesperson, I appreciated his professionalism and quick follow-up whenever I had a question. He also made sure to explain the installation process and warranty information thoroughly.
Dan was extremely helpful from my initial visit to the store and throughout the final installation process. Dan also worked with Seth from the Roseville store, who prepared an excellent video on how to get started with our hot tub once the installation process was complete.
Our complete experience of purchasing our Jacuzzi hot tub from CA Backyard was excellent. I would highly recommend purchasing your next hot tub from Dan at the California Backyard Store in Rancho Cordova, CA!

BUYERS BEWARE
We purchased our hot tub in December. We enjoyed our purchase experience and our sales person was awesome. Here is we’re everything fell apart. Our hot tub was delivered in January. The day it was delivered, they delivered the wrong cover, the cover lift was the wrong model, the chemical package was the wrong type, the hot tub’s internal wires were disconnected which caused nothing to work, two exterior panels were damaged and reported to the warehouse upon delivery.

They did send a tech out to fix the wiring issue within the first week. A few more weeks went by and they forgot about the issues with our cover and lifter, which they did replace a month later after we inquired about it. Since then, nothing! It’s been several months. I’ve emailed the service manager with no reply. I’ve gone into the store to talk to a manager. Not much luck there. We were offered $50 credit initially for dealing with these issues but when we went into the store to ask about the credit, the manager had no record of it. I also inquired about our replacement exterior panels, which were not ordered. The manager called back a few days later to tell me that the credit was added the week before I inquired about, yet he could find it? He also said that I needed to provide proof of the damage panels. These panels were identified and reported by the installer and initially acknowledged by customer service at the time of delivery. Why several months later do I need to supply proof.

We filed a complaint directly with Jacuzzi in January with no response. Jacuzzi is supposed to be top of line, but our experience has been a long and frustrating joke. Buyers beware! We recently filed a complaint with the federal trade commission as well as state government agencies. We do not recommend California Backyard to anyone and we share our experience so that people are aware of issues they may have to deal with.
