Delicious frozen custards! The atmosphere is back in the 50s theme. I had the Banana Waffer custard & my husband had the Mixed berry custard both were delicious and creamy! If your in the area stop & given them a try, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.🍦😋

Great desserts! However, the prices for regular caliches recently increased and the size has gotten significantly smaller!! Their regular size is equivalent to their old size small. I don't even want to know what their new size small is!

Caliche's has friendly staff and of course I LOVE the 50's Neon signage. The desserts are great. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is I also had a hot dog and the bun was stale and the cheese was not melted. BUT the dessert was great and more than made up for it. I would definitely go back. If you go try to go at dusk or night so you can really enjoy the full effect.

Great place to stop!! They have been here for years!!! They got crassant sandwiches, hotdogs (many different ways), nachos(many different ways), smoothies, drinks, old fashon sodas, custards, and more... We ordered a chocolate malt, Coca-Cola float, chili cheese dog, caliche's original dog, and a vanilla Brownie shake. Everything came out in a timely manner, looked and tasted good, and was a good price. It's hard to find places likcustard, we gotta keep them open.

My goodness!
I absolutely love the treats they have here. My daughter and I stopped here for my birthday.. The staff are very friendly and everything is made so fresh. Their ice cream dishes are so good! Reminds me of back in the day soda shops. My apologies for the picture but it was a hot afternoon and our ice cream melted a bit. Thankfully we had them in cups, but I do miss the waffle cones and bowls.

O.k. I went here under the impression this was a Classics Frozen Custard, but once we got there and while ordering our food, my man asked me what the number 1 was called. That is when I saw it was now a Caliche's Frozen Custard.
I dont know when it changed, but it was a Classics before, and i haven't lived in Roswell, but a couple of years.
At least it is still a frozen Custard place.
It has the usual vanilla and chocolate frozen custard.
But besides your very basic waffle bowl/cone optional sundae styles, they had shakes or blizzard style cutard deserts.
There was a section that had their own twist with Custard in a cherry (and other fruit flavored slushies) slushy with candy toppings. I didn't try this, though. If it had been Rootbeer, maybe I would have, but it just didn't sound great.
I was excited because they have Chicago dog's, so my expectations are low comparatively. I liked Sonic's, but they quit carrying it.
I lived in Chicago in the summer of 1997. I have low expectations for one anywhere else.
It was almost closing time, too.
It was not good. But as I said, the dog was sitting in water for hours. It was almost closing, too. It didn't have a poppy seed bun, which is essential. I do not believe the dog was 100% beef either, but it was a walk-up place with nowhere to sit. I didn't think to ask until after I got home and tried it, but they were closed. I ate 3 bites.
The Custard was great. It tastes as it is supposed to.
All 3 of us ate a dog and got a dessert, and it was around 35.. my man had the meal. This was cheap compared to most places today. Overall, it is a desert place , it is winter, and they were about to close, so I took that into account and gave 4 stars.. if I go back, in summer during the day, It might be better, but I will stick with Custard, most likely, but I'll let you know.

As for the style restaurant, I never quite understood the whole walk up and order in places that experience all 4 seasons, just cause it is too cold at least 3-6 months out of the year. They make up for it, though, with a drive-through.
It tricks you into thinking it is like sonic with the drive up order here parking, but all the menu/microphone/speakers like Sonic's have; either were never there or were un-installed.
I guess over all 3.8 stars, the employees were nice. Especially since it was time to go home when I went.

This is take out only, or eat in your car restaurant.
