Mr. & Mrs. Clifford & Samantha are such honest, good people. Starting off with their pricing. Very fair for this day in age. They really tried to help with an issue I am having while trying to drive through on my way to TX. Unfortunately, it is something that the dealership I got the car from should be fixing. Cliff could def do the job & diagnosed the vehicle well & informed me on some things I was unaware of. He was very able & willing to go above & beyond to help troubleshoot & re-create some issues to help me show proof to the dealership. I appreciate the time they both took & temp fix, Cliff was able to help with to get me home back to Denver. If I could give 10 stars 🌟 & 4 thumbs up, I would. I would definitely reach out again if I am having trouble in the area or simply just to swing by & say hey & thanks again. Very nice, helpful people & run their business well. I cannot recommend enough!

I stopped in because my check engine light came on. What a pleasant man to deal with. He could have taken advantage of the situation (from out of town, alone and at his mercy) but he didn’t. He even showed me the issue so that no one else could screw me over either. So nice to find an HONEST MECHANIC!

About 3 weeks ago I rolled in and stayed the night in Clayton and my 2000 Ford F-350 had its service engine light on as well as very low oil (my bad, the censors don’t work well). I came in pretty soon after they open at 8am and unfortunately (for me) they were booked up until 3pm that afternoon and I needed to be in another state by then. Dave was beyond nice and came out to check to make sure there weren’t any issues with my engine before I took off (the Texas truck was not a fan of the altitude) and essentially gave me an oil change and schooled me on how to do it myself in case I need to know. Dave is amazing and if I’m ever in Clayton again and need service I know where to go!

We were driving on 412 through Clayton and the van hauling a trailer had transmission issues. We stopped and called and were towed to a hotel across from this shop. The next morning we took the van to CDL and Clifford and his crew happened to have the exact part we needed, were very friendly, and even offered us a ride back to the hotel before they began working. A few hours later the same day he had the van done, everything ready for us to leave and charged a great and fair price despite not knowing us and knowing we were from out of town. Honest, sincere good mechanics.

Fantastic help! Quick to diagnose our problem, as well as helping us find the part we needed (a radiator cap). He could have easily charged us for his time (he spent a good 30 min. looking over the problem, diagnosing, and talking to us about it), but instead told us the problem, the part we needed, and sent us on our way. (Since he couldn't fix it at that moment, it wasn't serious, and we needed to leave, he simply told us where to go in the next town down the road.) Even better, his diagnosis was correct, and the new cap fixed out problem. Great service, polite, professional, and a great experience all around. We highly recommend this place.
