I called Brown’s to repair a leaking refrigerator. The appointment was scheduled for the next day. The technician, Chris, called 25-minutes before he was scheduled to arrive and then arrived on-time. He was extremely professional and easily diagnosed the problem. As the faulty component was located outside of the fridge, he had to order a replacement part and schedule a return visit the next day. A few hours later that same day, Brown’s called to ask if I was still available because Chris had picked up the replacement part and could come by and finish the repair. When he arrived he told me he ‘couldn’t let us be without water for another day’ because we had to shut off water at the main to stop the leak. The leak was repaired, the cost was very reasonable and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Absolutely amazing service - thank you Chris and Brown’s Appliance Repair!

The microwave of our 4-year old KitchenAid double over became inoperable and started flashing error codes. I called several repairs service companies, who indicated KitchenAid was notorious for being problematic after they were folded into Whirlpool and weren't really interested in the repair. Gormsen's in PB recommended Browne's. My first point of contact at Browne's was Tom, who took all the relevant info (i.e., model number, error codes, etc.) and scheduled an appt. for Chris to assess. Chris came as scheduled, called with a heads-up 20 minutes in advance, to check out the problem. However, due to the electric hookup was set up, he wasn't able to pull the built-in unit out to test it. I had to schedule an electrician to come out to relocate the j-box that would allow the unit to be removed while still having power. While having this extra step was inconvenient (for me as well as him) Chris was flexible were very accommodating in making multiple trips. Once Chris had full access the unit he was quickly able to diagnose the problem and replaced the necessary parts. Very professional (on his part and Tom's) and even recommended him to another appliance repair company that doesn't do KitchenAid ovens. I also have a bias for small, family-owned businesses.

Browne's is old school. You speak with a person to make your appointment by phone. They call before arrival and then show up on time. Dryer was fixed in less that 15 minutes by a terrific technician. Charge was less than I expected. Very reasonable. Thank you Browne's my faith in the repair business is restored

Absolutely love these people! Chris came out on a Saturday to replace our washer drain pump. He was on time, fast, and knowledgeable. Prices were explained up front and were very affordable. Sorry for the stinky water, Chris!

Unprofessional! Chris is by far the most unprofessional service rep I have ever had the displeasure of coming across. Bad mood, bad attitude, and short fused. Super glad he didn’t get to go into my house on this occasion, because based on his prior reviews, he has no problems opening up appliances and leaving the job incomplete. Chris seems to not realize that as a paying customer, I have other options, which I chose to exercise on this occasion to get my refrigerator repaired. I’m told Chris is the owner and sole technician representing Brown’s Appliance. I’ve used this company for 8 years, and had great experiences when another tech who’s no longer with the company used to service my appliances. Chris, if you’re reading this, you don’t belong in the field. Your favorite phrase based in other reviews and me personally hearing you say “YOU’RE NOT MY THERAPIST” when asked if you’re upset or angry, shows that you need some professional help to better handle how to deal with people from a customer service perspective. I hope you get the help you need. You probably have a family, and they’ll need you to learn to deal with your (anger) issues, if you hope to succeed and prosper at your business. Regretfully, you’ve lost my business.
