Special thanks to the gentleman behind the counter in the fresh food dept. he was back there by himself Sunday morning and I needed 8 Hawaiian roll chicken sandwiches (which are so good) and he didn’t hesitate. He made them up for me! I just love this place and everyone who works here.

oh, my heavens! brookshire brothers supermarket has the best deli! awesome produce! the meat department has beautiful meats & seafood! the bakery is amazing! the whole store is tastefully designed! it’s a pleasure shopping there instead of a chore and the employees are personable, polite & professional and act like they’re glad you’re there! best store ever! the cooks in the deli department could give lessons to some of the restaurants ...

We love Brookshire Brothers so much that we drove in from Lakeway on Friday, December 27, 2024, just to shop there and have lunch at their hot deli. Let me just tell you: We had the best fish sandwiches we have ever had in our lives there! The gent behind the counter was swamped when we showed up but he went to work on those sandwiches with determination, adding a galore of veggies to them and making them scrumptious. He even toasted the buns! We ate them in our car and were bowled by how fresh and delicious they were. This is the little grocery store that could. They have a great local coffee selection, too, and jams and honey, along with pickled vegetables and so much more! We just love the place. There's the store's Tobacco Barn next door with great selections of imported snus and domestic nasal snuff that you can't find anywhere else. We even bought some lottery tickets -- sadly those did not win, but it didn't matter because our trip to Brookshire Brothers was a total winner! We look forward to our next trip. It is a destination.

This grocery store and deli is well stocked, clean, and has a nice variety of "to go" breakfast and lunch items. I attend the monthly cars and coffee event which Brookshire Brothers graciously allows cars to park in their lot. Very handy also for when I attend the car show and then conveniently do a little grocery shopping before heading home. A nicer perk!
