Recently purchased a merino sweater which didn’t fit me well. Went back for an exchange/return within their 60-day return policy. They basically refused to take it back because the tag wasn’t “attached” to the sweater. It wasn’t missing or anything, it simply wasn’t attached. That’s the reason they gave me.

I explained that I’ve been a loyal customer and the sweater is basically never been worn but they brushed it off citing it was their “policy”. The policy doesn’t deny return and leaves it up to the store associate’s discretion to make a determination to at least offer store credit instead. Which I requested for. Their store associate “Chris” basically said he’d “lose his job” if he did that.

Have bought many clothes from Brooks over the years as its loyal customer and also own their credit card. Sorry, you just lost a customer and left a really poor taste in the mouth. Customers just beware of this silly policy.

This store was the worst experience I ever had in my life. They do whatever they can to not accept return. With tages connected and never used still they not accept it and they just say we will call security.

I have been a fan of Brooks Brothers from before I could afford it. And remained a fan after I was able to. Their shirts are built like none other- with robust cotton and perfect fit. They make classic clothes for classy people. Without costing nearly the fortune that Hugo Boss and the like do, you can expect a quality shirt from Brooks Brothers.

Normally this is a great place to get shirts if you like the somewhat blousier style and are willing to pay small premium for excellent shirting that looks like it was freshly ironed right out of the washer. Unfortunately, my last couple visits have been disappointing. There were very few shirts in my size, and the staff member who went in the back brought a slightly wrong size, which I didn't notice until after I left. Coming back 8 months later with the receipt, the staff was upset when I asked them to fix the incorrect size. She even snatched the receipt from me, saying, "I'm keeping this!" as if I was trying to put something over on them. I've spent a bit over $4K at Brooks Brothers over the years, and being harangued over a simple exchange that wasn't even my fault was the worst service I've gotten there.

I live Brooks Brothers and this place is pretty cool if you are looking for deals. I was surprised how great the variety was. They have both men and women section. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We could figure ND several of their BB upscale items as well at great prices. I also noticed that the store was well kept up and organized for an outlet place. You can tell it's more of a premium brand outlet than your average retailer.

I always thought Brooks Brothers was the place “where my father got his suits”, but I was impressed with the broad selection of very stylish clothing and to learn that they offer more than just “professional“ suits.
What made my visit so exceptional was the assistance from Adriana Spiridon! She immediately greeted me when I came into the store but allowed me to browse. When I asked for assistance, she was responsive and knowledgeable and took the time to understand my fashion preferences.
We worked together to make some adjustments to my sizes. I thought I was always a 40 regular but she helped me try on different jackets for size and I learned that a 39 regular in some styles works better for me.

She helped me with shirt color and style options and chose some ties for me that perfectly set off the color in the suit and the shirts!

I was only going to browse that day, but left the store with two suits, three shirts and two ties and Adriana had another suit mailed to me from a different store. It was quite affordable as well!

I had all the suits in time for my special events in mid July and I looked great and everyone told me so! I gave the credit and stellar recommendations to Brooks Brothers.

TLDR: MAKE SURE TO CHECK ALL CLOTHING BEFORE BUYING FOR ANY MARKS. THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS FOR EVEN A SINGLE IMPERFECTION.

Beware shopping here if you ever plan to buy something for a friend or family member - dare I say yourself.

I bought a few polos for my father-in-law and realized they were too large for him. I wanted to come back to the store and exchange sizes. However, I was told I could not return them because of miniscule blemishes that honestly could have come from the worker herself. These shirts looked new and smelled new, and had never been worn outside of the ONE time by my father-in-law to check if it fit him.

For those of us who have shopped at Nike or other stores, we are used to being able to purchase items safely with the assurance that in-good-faith we would be able to exchange one item for another size if it doesn't fit. I do not see this store as a safe space to buy, and will never be returning.

The lady at the counter looked over every inch of each shirt and seemed to INTENTIONALLY look for reasons to deny my return. Out of 3 polos, she denied returns on 2 of them due to the most minor imperfections that honestly could have been from her own hand when folding the shirt in the first place!

Ridiculous. I have friends in retail, and I know that some may try to return clothes after wearing it on a night out. This was NOT the case. Each item was as-new and the blemish could have been come from anywhere, and was so minor that you would have to look closely and try to find it (knowing it was there).

I'd rather buy my clothes somewhere else where I know that if clothes do not fit, then I can return them. In all my years, I have never felt like a store was so blatantly distrusting of honest customers and actively looking for any reason to deny honest customers from

The "acting" store manager mentioned that there was a faint stain on two polos I purchased for my father-in-law. I mentioned that that was strange, because we only kept the shirt in the shopping bag that we took the shirt out of and then had my father-in-law wear it only once to see if it fit.

I will never be back at this store, and recommend that if you are buying an item for a loved one or a friend . . . shop at your own extreme caution. The same extreme caution and attention they will scrutinize your exchange or return if anything is awry.

PSA: Take photos of each shirt and check for any blemish, in case the person who is folding your clothes upon checkout has dirty hands.

I was at counter at 7 pm and I was in queue, the cashier and the manager refused to do the transaction and instead call security, worst experience ever! Won’t recommend anybody to shop there!
