A mix of the usual mall stores that you would expect and mom and pop stores I hadn't heard of before. I was quite surprised to see an Apple store and Coach here, the Apple store is smaller than normal but was full of people. A little disappointing that there's really no food court, but there are some nicer restaurants along the outside edge of the mall such as P.F. Changs and California Pizza Kitchen. The mall is a single floor and easy to navigate. There were a few empty storefronts on my visit and 1 anchor store vacant.

Our experience at Briarwood Mall was nothing short of outrageous and deeply disappointing.

We operated two retail stores in the mall, and as Jewish business owners, we were repeatedly targeted with antisemitic harassment and vandalism. Instead of offering support or ensuring our safety, mall management stood by silently — and eventually chose to push us, the victims, out of the mall entirely.

The hostility didn’t end there. After we vacated, they refused to return our security deposit and completely cut off communication. They blocked our numbers, ignored our emails, and even avoided basic professional responsibility — forcing us to contact them through unfamiliar phone numbers just to get a response. To this day, they still haven’t provided a breakdown or any explanation for withholding our money.

This is not only deeply unprofessional — it’s discriminatory and unethical. No business, especially one facing targeted hate, should be treated this way.

Shame on Briarwood Mall management.

I’ve only visited Briarwood Mall once in my life, but the experience left a lasting impression. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm atmosphere and friendly staff across various stores. We found great deals and purchased several items, but what made it truly memorable was how much my children enjoyed the play center in the heart of the mall. It gave them a chance to laugh and unwind while we took a break from shopping. It’s rare to find a mall that offers such a family-friendly vibe. We’ll cherish those memories for years to come!

This mall is well-kept and is appropriately renovated. Public restrooms are nice and well-ventilated. Some stores have endured, while others have changed. There are multiple dining options from quick bites to coffee to sit-down restaurants. Plenty of free parking with designated handicap parking.

Moved to Michigan from Illinois. Malls do not exist anymore in Chicago and the surrounding areas. So, it's incredibly awesome to be around a thriving mall. Nearly every storefront is open and the mall is very clean. I especially enjoy that the mall opens early to allow people to utilize it for walking in colder months. The only thing missing is a food court. Though, you can find Chipotle, P.F Changs, Panda Express and California pizza kitchen on the premises, as well as a handful of tea and sweets stands. I'm happy to have a thriving mall around. I hope it doesn't go the way of most malls and slowly die. 10/10 would recommend

What a wonderful place such an easy mall to get in and out of you don’t have to suffer to try to find something. New renovations are coming lots of new stores. It will be a spectacular place hopefully by the end of the year.

The management at Briarwood Mall deliberately misled us.

They asked us to provide a full refund to a customer — a refund that clearly went against our store policy — in exchange for two months of free rent and the opportunity to continue doing business in the mall.
We agreed in good faith, and they had us sign a brand-new lease.

But just one month later, they turned around and terminated our lease without providing reason . No explanation. No support. No opportunity to even notify or care for our loyal customers.

This was a calculated move — a complete breach of trust that left us with financial damage, no access to our location, and no way to communicate with the clients we had built relationships with over time.

What they did was not just unprofessional — it was deceptive and cruel.
