Patrick Daigle is an awesome guide. My wife is new to fly fishing and he did a great job working with her, getting her on fish and he was super kind the entire day. Fun conversation, good education wading the Madison behind the Campfire Lodge. It was an epic day. Thank you Patrick!

We've done 4 or 5 guided trips over the last few years with Blue Ribbon, and every guide has been great, but this year we worked with a guide named Patrick who is really phenomenal. He taught us so much and we really grew our skills over the two days we worked with him. He has a fantastic attitude, is super knowledgable, and takes real joy in watching his clients land big fish & enjoy themselves. From now on we will be booking our trips through Blue Ribbon based on Patrick's availability. We really look forward to coming back next year and getting back out there with Patrick. A quality I really appreciate about him is his passion for conservation and fishing with an awareness of how to protect the fish & the longevity of the sport in the area.

In June we fished in Yellowstone & Patrick took us to some of his favorite spots off the beaten path, which we were able to return to on our own in the following days and catch fish. (this is especially valuable because the park can be hard to navigate if you aren't familiar with it & some of the features that can be dangerous to walk on). In July we fished the Madison with Patrick and I landed the biggest rainbow I've ever caught. He coached me through landing it, and now I feel much more confident in landing one like this when I'm out there on my own. He also really helped my boyfriend learn a lot about the terrain and how to watch for fish, and he landed a huge brown at the end of the day as Patrick coached him. It was so gratifying for all 3 of us to end the day on a high like that! THANK YOU PATRICK!!

We went to a few other flu shops in town first… no one seemed to want to talk or be friendly. This shop was so nice! Very helpful. Very willing to share information and stories! Would recommend

We had an amazing full day float trip with our guide John! We caught lots of fish including the largest trout I’ve ever caught! Even after doing a few fly fishing trips across the country, this one was hard to beat. John was a great teacher and would recommend him for anyone from any skill level!

Was on vacation last spring and camped on the Madison. Stopped in to pick up a few items and the gentlemen there were very gracious, fixed me up with some good flies and some pointer. I fished near my campground and landed a few trout just like they said!

These folks are gracious and professional!
Great T Shirts too.

Our first family fly fishing trip and BRF delivered an elevated guide trip. Our guides, Pope and Garrett, were patient, knowledgeable and great instructors. They were also incredibly positive, kind and generous. We could not have asked for 2 better guides to introduce us to the art of flyfishing and we can’t wait to get back onto the river to cast and set our hooks again. If you’re in West Yellowstone they are the go to shop.

Have been a regular customer over the last 10 years, I have appreciated the great selection of soft hackle
Fly’s that BRF have vetted and sell over the years .BRF long term experience in the region and their bent on testing on the patterns makes them my go to shop in the region. During the last two summers I have gone in 4 guided trips with Drew Mentzer. We have done floats as well as walk wade in the off the beaten path locales. It matters not if your seasoned or a newbie Drew
Is there to help , giving all his knowledge and experience.
He is a Pros Pro , he cares and his 20
Plus years of experience works in his clients favor! One. Warning , don’t make fun of the cardinals baseball team, he may forget to cinch up your fly on your line😊!!! He’s terrific!
