Found this little cafe whilst passing through Carlsbad, couldn’t be happier that we stopped in!!
This little cafe was bustling with what seemed to be regulars and locals. The baristas and employees were very welcoming and friendly! We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, a hot tea, and a lavender london fog. I couldn’t put my sandwich down once I started it was SO good!! The croissant was flaky and fresh and the hatch chile that comes on the sandwiches is DELICIOUS!! They offer asparagus on all their breakfast sandwiches which intrigued me. Next time I’m passing through I’ll have to give it a try!

We visited at a very busy time and they still made us feel special and service was great! The food and coffee was even better!!! You can eat indoors or in a nicely shaded outdoor area. If you are near Carlsbad, this is the place to have breakfast. Pastries were the freshest I have had in years and so delicious! Amazing!!!!

AMAZING coffee!!! One of the best coffees I’ve ever had. Too bad we arrived late for Breakfast as they stop serving it at 11. We did grab some pastries and they were delicious. Had the honor to meet the owner; a great guy who told us the amazing story behind this little hidden gem!

The atmosphere and peaceful scenery (oh and can't forget about the beautiful weather at the moment) was the highlight of our experience. The service was good. Food came out quick and was warm enough. A couple of small time requests were not fulfilled but nothing to be snoody about. Overall, the wife enjoyed it. RECOMMEND.

Well located. Very nice outdoor seating.

Say hello to the friendly grey cat who lives on the porch.

Staff is friendly and welcoming. They know the names of regulars. Good location for a leisurely breakfast or to pick up something to carry out. Simple breakfast menu, but something for everyone.

After a 10 hour grueling drive across Texas, my sweet tooth was calling. We stopped in for breakfast before heading to the Caverns and we're treated with a mouthwatering buttered breakfast croissant and fresh baked Snickerdoodle cookies. This is a must for future trips West for me!

This is such a cute place. I loved it. Unfortunately they stop serving breakfast at 11am so I got to try the pastries and last plate they had of biscuits and gravy and it was delicious. We ordered the frappes and they were delicious. Will definitely be going back when I come to visit Carlsbad again next month. The pastries were delicious took some home and they were all gone quick. It’s a cute small place with awesome knickknacks and paintings. The sunflower was my favorite.
