Wow, is this a great grocery store! Betty's Country Store offers a fantastic selection of produce, regular grocery items, and a deli that serves delicious food. Their wine cellar and craft beer selection are impressive, catering to a variety of tastes. They also stock beer and some essential camping incidentals, which is incredibly convenient. The store has a unique charm and carries a lot of natural goods, making it stand out from typical grocery stores. I only wish we had one of these next to where I live. Highly recommend!

After a long hike, this is exactly what we were looking for. I ordered the almond chicken salad on a croissant with additions. My spouse ordered the Club. Both sandwiches came with a choice of side, chips, a cookie, and a pickle slice.
Each person fills out their own paper with their name, table number, and order, then gives it to the bartender, and they will deliver the food.
The patio has many tables and dartboards.
The store inside has everything you can think of, including fresh produce.
We would certainly eat here again.
We visited on July 4th, so it was incredibly busy, and the parking attendants were a tremendous help. Thank you.

Nice store with stuff you may need - - except no sunglasses ? Love their sides - - see the pics. Service is fast enough. The cashiers are usually friendly. They need an organized line for accepting orders at the deli. You put down your sheet and people who are after you can put their sheets on top and would get their orders filled first. One of the few places with free parking!

There aren’t a lot of places to pick up basic things in Helen, but Betty’s country store has a pretty good selection and you can generally find something you want. They have a really nice selection of wines and beers besides the grocery store there’s also a bar which we stopped at, they had great German beer and the food was decent

My husband and I were visiting Helen for the weekend and we visited Betty’s Resturant during our trip. It’s a small but quaint little outdoor place that sells sandwiches and has drinks too. We tried their pineapple mimosas and they were super good! The staff there is okay as well, treated me (black woman) a bit differently from the other non-black guests, felt a bit uncomfortable, so just be aware of that in mind when visiting.

Want a laid back atmosphere? Sit outside on the patio area ur under the large front porch of Betty's country store and grab you a quick bite and drink. Menu's are paper slips with a variety of sandwiches and sides to pick from that you fill out at your leisure and turn into the bartender. Pretty sure they serve soups too. Full domestic and imported beer menu, along with other beverages like wine and mixers. Kid friendly as well, do have a kids menu plus non alcoholic drinks I ordered a ham sandwich and it came with an extra pickle slice, snack bag of lays classic chips, and a sugar cookie. Was PLENTY for a light lunch. Will not break your wallet. Right across from the big Windmill. Definitely check it out if you want to kick back on the porch and just relax. 10/10 will be back! Betty's has always been our "go to" place. The outside bar is the spot for a cool drink and a good lunch on a warm summer day, for people and pooches alike. Angela (thank you for your service) took excellent care of us and our dog, Bryan. She washed out the water bowl and gave him a fresh drink to go along with his grilled hotdog! Thank you.
